"Okay, thanks. I'll likely be moving around for awhile, but I'll try to call you... I'll miss you..." I pause uneasialy, and blush slightly. "I... I have a favor to ask you..."

"I want to kiss you... I..." I stutter. I am embarressed to say it, but in a way I am attracted to Cambridge, though not as strongly as I am to Bassarov (whom I want to marry).

"I don't know what to say. I don't know..." Cambridge replies nervously.
"It's not that I've never kissed a girl before...but...I just..."

"I don't know either,... For some reason, I just want to kiss you." My blush deepens. "Maybe I should just go, sorry to bother you..."

"I'll be going tomorrow. I don't really know you well enough to give you a kiss. I don't just kiss anyone. But you are a friend, so I can give you a peck on the cheek. Okay?" Sie leans over and gives Selja a quick peck on the cheek then turns away.
"I'll see you around, don't worry." Sie smiles and walks off.

"Thanks." I say, feeling relieved. The spot on my cheek where hir lips touched me tingles, though not like when Bassarov had kissed me. I walk to the classroom and begin the arduous tests...

septimus smiles. "that sounds like a great idea... how are the others, have you spoken with them?" septimus says, beginning to feel anxious.

"Some school children were killed as well as residents of the apartment. The rebels themselves only took injurries. It is ironic really, that we came away with just injurries, but the most innocent were hurt. And they call us the terrorists."

"the russians would kill their own mothers to save face." septimus replies harshly. he finishes his cigarette, and sticks the butt in an old soda can.

"The family lives in Moscow. She is friends with Tanya Shandez, another wealthy Russian. We could capture them both. It would attract attention to the cause and we can once again make our demands." Aslan examines Septimus' leg. He looks up. He knows that Septimus is having a crisis of faith but does not know what to say to him for comfort.
"We will give your leg some time, then act. This world is suffering, but verily the faithful are rewarded."
"Rest up."

"Oh hey, sure, there are a pile of signs over here." I say, picking one up for her.
"Here you go." I hand her a generic mass produced sign that simply says "A Fair Wage is a Right Not a Priveledge".
"Did you rest well, Joutsen?"

"I rested well enough. The hotel bed was dreadfully hard and now my back is terribly sore. I have such a bad back you know. I was so hoping you would stop by and give me one of your wondeful massages." I turn to the other activists.
"I am sorry. I really don't mean to complain. There are some people without beds and who lack the health care for their bad backs. I certainly don't put my small problems above theirs."
