I laugh and am pleased. I eat another lemon bar, but feel that maybe I am in Zivon's way and he would like to talk to his friends alone.
"I think I am going to go for a walk. It was nice meeting the both of you! And thanks for teaching me nihilist scrabble!!"
I smile and leave, since I just don't want to be in the way. After I leave I feel a little sad for some reason. Maybe that none of them really like me, but that they just put up with me for the duration of the game. I go back to the fountain and sit down alone.

Bassarov is thoughtful for a moment. "Well, would you like to meet some of the people I know here. I could take you to meet Helene or Lysander...or even Raul. It is up to you."

Katrina smiles and nods. Whatever is convient to you. I really don't care. But before we can even talk about meeting anyone, I need to shower and eat. We call all go out to eat if you want, that way we can kill two birds with one stone.

Bassarov takes Katrina back to his room so she can shower. He sits down on the bed. "Well, I will see who I can get a hold of while you are in the shower. If everyone is busy we can just go out together."

"Ah, what, really..??" I stutter. My hands reach to the control stick and grip it tightly but I do my best not to move it around that dramatically.
"I was actually imagining flying something a little smaller, hah... But I've heard that you're more likely to crash and die in a smaller plane than a larger one..."

"That is true. You would have to try to crash this plane, whereas if you jinked in a Cessna you could go down very fast. I'm certified on eight airplanes, the Cessna 172, Learjet 45, Gulfstream 5, F-16, B-52, the Harrier, the 747-400 and the F-18. And that doesn't count helicopters." I say with some smugness as I watch him handle the controls. "You're doing pretty good,"

I missed most of what she said in lieu of concentrating on the controls of the plane, but caught the jist of it. She has lots of knowledge flying stuff.
"Ah, thanks... Yeah this is quite a monster..." We reach our destination.
"I think that's it down there..."

Before I leave I head to the kitchen to say goodbye to everyone.
"I am sorry about this, but you are always welcome to visit me in Helsinki."
They are still my friends, I just can't hang out at a terrorist hideout.

I sit up in my seat so I can see over the nose of the plane. "Yes it is. Once we take care of this and pick up your friend we need to take a commercial flight to Seattle. General Kolov gave me permission to order an airplane for our group, and I have to take delivery." I begin unstrapping myself, and engage the autopilot. "Okay, I'm going down to the bombadeer's console. Just make sure nothing bad happens."

"Okay sis, I'll see you then. Bye." I say before she hangs up. I sit back down next to Sakari and briefly tell the others about what she told me...

"Yes sir." I reply, and feel like I should be doing something really important. But I just sit complacently, and look down out of the cockpit onto the ground which will soon be ablaze.

I quickly walk to the bombadeer console. One of the features is that it has is the ability to control the autopilot, but in this case it's unnessasary. The cluster bomb is equipped with the JSOW guidence system, allowing it to home in on it's target without the need to alter our course. I type in the guidence coordinates, set burst altitude to 50 feet, since we want to keep the explosions as contained as possible, open the bomb doors and release the weapon...
As soon as the bomb is clear of the airplane it deploys fins and glides almost gracefully towards it's target. When it is 50 feet above the ELF compound it splits in half, spitting out 300 hand grenade-like submunitions, which scatter all over the compound and explode, spitting razor sharp metal fragments out at the speed of sound.

As I am walking to the door to leave, the bombs hit our complex. The building collapses and I am crushed inside with the others...

I watch the compound ignite underneath us, and from this high up, I can't help but feel like a God. I notice that my mouth is gaping, and close it, then sit down.
I feel a sudden wave of guilt wash over me, though I don't know why... I shake my head and act like nothing happened.
