"Oh..well, he works hard and...has a temper. He and I don't get along that well. He is kind of a nihilist. I said that before. He doesn't believe in anything, but doesn't know what nihilism is...so he is naturally one."
"He is cold and cruel to a lot of people. He likes to see people lose and suffer. His favorite part of the paper is the obituary and the police report. He likes to know who is dying and who is getting into trouble."
"He was kind of abusive to my mother, but I don't remember that much. He hates my mother, even all these years after she died. He can never bury a grudge. When you're his enemy, you're his enemy for life. My grandparents are the same way."
"They don't understand me. They think I am a little crazy. They wanted me to go join the military and make them proud, but I never wanted to do that."
"They are upset with me because I am a socialist. My father used to destroy art projects I made. He calls me a whore, when I was a virgin until I was 19 and have only had three boyfriends..."
I stop, feeling a little out of breath.
"Oh, here we are. The cafe."

Zivon slowly gets more and more annoyed with the description of her father. He now remembers asking her this question previously, and feels a semblence of regret bringing it up again.
"Jesus, what an asshole..." I say, heading into the cafe. We're still early, so Katya hasn't shown up yet. I hope she isn't going to ditch me...
"I don't understand how it's possible to be your own person if your personal achievements are constantly being destroyed." Zivon replies, and sits down at a table with Helvi.
"I just fail to see how this would be productive in any way shape or form... How did you put up with this?"

"Well, now that I am older things are different. I remember I took it for many years and was just sad and kept it inside. I was always really imaginative so I would write stories or draw things as an escape."
"But everyone has a hard life in one way or another. So, it's no big deal. It's just how things go." I say simply.
"You can't dwell on those things. It would defeat you or warp you. So you just have to take joy in the small everyday goodness that we find."
I order a iced raspberry tea.
"But thanks for listening to me. And thanks for taking me along. It is really nice. I know I am not really the kind of person you normally spend time with, but I like being with all of you. It makes me happy."

Zivon nods, and smiles.
"Well that's good. I like spending time with you too, and I'm sure Punch and Judy do as well." I say, eyeing my watch, then tapping my fingers. She's late.
"So how does a hotel room sound for tonight?"

"I am sure we could all split the cost, so that seems like a reasonable idea." I reply.
I feel a little drowy and yawn.

Zivon leaves his money with the cashier, and follows Helvi out, where they all get a hotel room.
"Yeah that sounds good." I say, as we get our room. The room goes on Judy's card, and we head up to our two bedroom room.

I enter the room and set my purse down. I don't have anything else on me. I feel a little yucky in these same clothes.
"This is a nice room." I say cheerfully as a mouse runs across the floor. "Oh, that was cute."
I look at the others and wonder who is going to sleep where.

Ah great... Of course they'd have to be in this predicament... Only more drama and attachment would ensue should Zivon sleep with Helvi, unless...
"Alright, we can share a bed, but we'll sleep head to toe." I reply.
"You two are used to sleeping together, right?" Zivon asks Punch and Judy. They give an affirmative response (moving along...)

"I'll just sleep on the floor with the mouse. It isn't a big deal." I grab the comforter and go onto the floor. I lean up against the bed so I am sleeping sitting up.
"I have trouble sleeping anyway, so I sleep sitting up a lot of the time." I say, which is true. I lean my head on the mattress and sleep down on the floor without much effort.

"Helvi, what are..." Zivon says, and notices that she's pretty hell bent on sleeping on the floor.
"Ah alright. Well just come up to the bed if you get uncomfortable..." I say, then fall asleep myself, on top of the covers, fully clothed. I don't really feel clean or safe at motels such as this.

I just smiled at her and stroke her hair.
"Have you ever eaten Korean food before?" "No I haven't." *Trish smiled and placed one handd on Linkin's cheek. Gentily rubbing it.*

"This hotel sucks and blows at the same time," Judy says, throwing a lamp at the wall. Punch nods, agreeing.
"I'm bored," Judy whines.

Marla decides that she wants a snack. She heads downstairs to the hotel cafe.
((If you want to post, Hallie, Marla is at the cafe.))

"Hm.. Oh. Yeah." Marla says, looking up from her food. She is eating a ceasar salad and drinking a grape soda. Marla feels a little like a deer in headlights.
