"It would be! And you really never know what the future has in it. I kind of have a way of getting too hopeful, but nothing is entirely impossible." I pour batter on the griddle and make another pancake, this time using blueberries to make a happy face.

Zivon smirks. He feels good that Heikki is becoming his own person and less dependent on him.
"That's good, man, glad to hear it... I guess it's really not a big deal that she's my sister or whatever, I was just... really shocked..." I say, twisting my head when I say these things.
"I'd like to talk to her about a few things. Has she said anything about me or her mother?" Zivon asks, strangely interested. He tries not to sound like he's desperate for answers.

Natasha smiles and finishes the sausages. She notices how Helvi always seems happy and upbeat while Heikki seems really reserved. Who knew siblings could be so different. You do. Duh! Look at you and your brother. Say, Helvi. Wanna call the guys down?

"I am not sure if they wanted to talk or not." I say sort of unsure if I should bother them. "Maybe we should just wait for them to come down. I don't want to be a pest."

"I obviously was pretty shocked by it as well. It is a strange coincidence. She had told me that she had an older brother who her mother had given up for adoption. She said that it really bothered her mother, all her life I think. And that, her parents are teachers. She is studying to be a dancer." Heikki says, trying to think back to everything she said. "She really didn't talk much about her family and I never put it together that you were her brother."
"If it bothered you, I wouldn't want to harm our friendship. I suppose all things are equal..." Heikki says but trails off. He isn't sure if he feels comfortable talking about their strange relationships with their sibblings.
"So, anyway, good to see you." He says changing the topic. He would like to ask about Helvi, but he won't venture there.
"Maybe we should go downstairs and eat."

"Yeah well, I'm glad she was so distraught that she couldn't even bother to see where I was." Zivon adds, and stands up.
"Not that that matters. Let's go eat." I say, heading towards the door.

I turn to face Mischa more. "So is there anything worth seeing in this country, or at least in this city? And I've already been in the Kremlin, so besides that." I ask.

Good point. Maybe when they smell the food, they will come down. She pulls out plates, forks and cups to put on the table. So... this is akward. Its strange how the universe works.

Heikki feels uncomfortable and isn't sure how to respond. He walks out the door with Zivon. "Breakfast sounds good right about now." He says neutrally and goes downstairs. He enters the kitchen and takes a seat at the end of the table. He notices that Helvi and Natasha made pancakes, which pleases him since he always had a soft spot for pancakes.

"Good morning you two!" I say cheerily.
"I hope you like pancakes. And I made orange juice too!" I say and set a plate of pancakes on the table. I smile happily and sit down at the table.

"Ah no, not really..." I say, thinking to myself.
"I'm sure if I were a tourist, I'd think of lots of places to go, but I've pretty much seen everything there is to see here."

Natasha smiles and puts everything else on the table before sitting. I think Home Ec. paid off during high school...

"Well we're not exactly tourists, are we? I was just wondering if you had a good way to fill the off hours. And at some point I need to locate a decent source of food... No offense but this Russian fare isn't exactly to my tastes."

Heikki smiles and helps himself to some pancakes and juice. He feels a little awkward sitting there with Zivon, Helvi, and Natasha in the room. It feels a little strange and tense. He watches Zivon from the corner of his eye to see what his reaction is to Helvi. This is something that interests him immensely. He has noted a change in Zivon, but finds it hard to believe that he would be affection in any wholesome way.

"Thanks Helvi, Natasha." Zivon replies, and immediately digs into his pancakes.
"Sorry for my bad introduction Natasha... It was just a little weird, you know. Well it's nice to meet you and everything." I say, for some reason feeling a little upset by her presence, though I try not to make a scene.
