"Oh sure, you two can help. Things really aren't that organized, you can just pitch in and volunteer wherever and however you want. I am really not an anarchist, but Salome, Shura, Nea, Antero, and Natasha are and I am sure they can help you two get started."
"There aren't that many rooms left here, but you could probably share a room with someone or sleep on the couch or in the attic. I don't know, it's up to you." Heikki replies and is glad that more people have come to help out.

"Thanks for your help. I'm sure Cass and I can figure things out. And thanks for letting us stay here. We'll probably be here for a few weeks if that's okay." Cambridge replies to Heikki.

"That should be fine. People seem to come and go as they like." Heikki remarks. He doesn't have a whole lot to say to Cambridge and Cassius, so he stands there kind of dumbly for a moment. He looks towards the kitchen and then back at them again. "If your hungry, I think I am going to make some lunch." He states then heads into the kitchen to make a snack at least for himself.

"Nah, I think we'll be okay." Cambridge says for the both of them. Sie turns back to Cassius, but since they had something to eat on the train, they should be set.
"If you were a food, I don't know what you would be Cass. I guess I don't know you that much. You seem a little indifferent and laid back, so something that doesn't have a lot of flavor. And you don't seem overly warm or cold, so something of moderate temperature. Maybe..I don't know, blueberries."

"Hm... She says she knows what the IMF is..." I tell Salome, a little weirded out by what she decided to tell me.
"You do? Where did you find out about that? And what do you know about the IMF?" I ask Lillia in Russian.

"Oooh, wonderful, let's take her along to a protest now, shall we?" I say with a little more sarcasm than I meant to.
"Ahem..sorry...well, that's interesting."

"I met...a man from the IMF today. His name is Adrik Kudrin. He is Russian. He is from Moscow and told me that he is well known and that I should should have been glad to meet him. He told me what the IMF does." Lilia replies. She wants to use this information to impress the two of them, but so far they don't seem very impressed. This makes her feel a little sad and she droops her shoulders. "He told me I need better education so I can get a job."

I wake up sometime before we arrive in Japan. It was a long flight and my legs feel like they are made of lead from sitting so long. We land and check into our hotel. I feel a little yucky from the flight and sitting so long. After unpacking my things, I change clothes and put on some comfortable shoes.
"I feel like I need to stretch, would you like to go for a walk?"

I work as normal but feel alone and upset. I have been trying to contact Ilya but he hasn't been returning my calls. I just feel frustrated with everything. I think about Li and Vissarion and how they remind me of other people I know. Maybe it is irrational. I decide on a whim to search for them.
I leave my apartment and start walking down the street towards where Tom and Cambridge live. Perhaps I will get lucky and bump into them.

"Well, that's certainly on par with what I imagine the IMF saying..." I say in Russian.
"Lillia, the guy you talked to was mean. The IMF is a horrible organization that steals from poor people to make those with already more money than they know what to do with, have more money." I say, then pat her on the shoulder.
"I'm sure whoever you talked to meant well." I lie "but what he said was really mean and you shouldn't have to listen to him. But getting an education might not be a bad idea..." I turn to Salome.
"She talked to someone from the IMF and he told her to go to school to get an education. I don't quite know how to take that..."

"He said that the IMF was created after World War II for economic stability and cooperation." She says, doing the best to repeat him and get the information right. She feels a little sad that this information is not useful to them or they are not impressed that she met someone who was well known. "I finished school. I went to school while at the orphanage and when I was in the foster home. I wanted to go to college, before the accident. I don't have money for that though. I spend the money you send me on rent and food." She says to Shura, still convinved that the money she recieves comes from him. "But maybe I could learn English so I can talk to other people."

"I am a little surprised that anyone from the IMF would be here in France right now. I can't imagine they are very welcome..." I say and find this all to be a little peculiar.
"I am not sure if she could handle more schooling, what with, her mental condition."

"Yeah you're probably right, but maybe if she could at least learn English..." I tell Salome.
"Learning English might be good for you, Lillia. The IMF was created after world war 2, but it was created to make sure that the United States..." I try to think of words to use that won't confuse her.
"It was made so America would be the most powerful country on earth, and remain that way."

She will remember this in case she ever meets the person from the IMF. She feels glad to learn something new. "Will you teach me English, Shura?" She asks with hopeful eyes.

I listen to Shura and Lilia speak, waiting for Shura to translate. I wouldn't mind if she learned English. I have a few things I would like to question her about, and the language certainly is a barrier.
"I suppose you could teach her, Shura. She trusts you more than the rest of us." I say, looking down at my finger, which still bears the bite marks from before.
