I chuckle a little, and take off after her. She is faster than I expected, and though I let her win by a slight margin it takes more effort than I expected. "You're pretty good." I say

"Thanks." I say, puffing a little. I am out of shape I guess. I pat him on the lower back in a friendly way, and let him inside our house.
"Everyone, this is Vissarion."

Frieda nodded her head. "Yes thank you. I really had no where to go. And to stay in that house..." she twisted her face in disgust. "I probably would have done something that I would regret. I never want to see either of them ever again."

I spent couple more hours in the park before going back to my home. As I entered the house, I found my mom laying on the couch, drunk. I rolled my eyes and went to my bedroom. I took out my shotgun and began cleaning it. Its has been a while to hold a gun. I wonder if I take my father's place in the mafia but I have to wait and see.

"Well, don't worry about things now. It will be okay." Bonifaz says with a reassuring smile. He ushers her into the living room and thinks about how he hasn't done anything recently for Das Ende. It makes him a little on edge to be idle for so long. "I really don't see what Rommel sees in Eva anyway. She is unattractive, clingy, and mentally unstable."

Frieda nods her head. "The whole idea is disgusting. I really dont want to think or talk about it." her voice softens as she stares at her hands.

"Very well." He replies to her and out of respect for her wishes drops it. "The exiled French government has been begging Rommel to do something about the things going on in France. I beleive that...we can expect something to be done come September or October."

"Thank you," she murmers and then lifts her head a bit. "I suppose that's a good thing."

"I could care less either way...but, it's something to do and think about." Bonifaz replies and really doesn't put much more thought to the going ons in France. "I should have sympathy for what is happening there. I am not a national socialist, you know. I don't believe in government. But I suppose I am really not striving toward any ideal."
"Do you believe in all of this, Freida?"

She shrugs. "I really dont know. I mean I had some ideas since my father was a government figure. I guess after seeing everything happen I didn't really see a point to government." Pausing a moment her eyes fall back to the floor. "I'm just confused about it all."

"I understand. It is a confusing time." He states. He considers the terrible things that he would like to do with her, but wants to build her trust at least for the time being. "I think humanity is on course to self destruction. But I wouldn't mourn our passing. It is the fault of our stupidity and short sightedness."

"Freida, there is nothing in this world to fear. It is out of fear that men create Gods...they worship their own fear and weakness. To be above the fear of death, punishment, pain, suffering, to be aloof to it all, is to.. become a God...or at least something above what we call humans." He states and smiles. "Change happens. The death of humanity would only be another change. And in the grand scheme of the universe, we are nothing. We are just a tiny blip in the history of the universe. Our lives, civilizations, our planet...they are all doomed to die one day or another... why mourn or fear something so insignificant?" He asks her. He reaches out and touches her face. "Are you afraid of me. Sometimes I think that you are. I wonder why that is."

Cambridge cuts up some pineapple for hir friend Felix and sits back down at the table. Sie munches on some pineapple hirself.
"Well Felix, want to do some volunteer work with me?" Sie ask him. "We are all working hard to keep this city running and to compensate for some of the shortages and free services." Sie explains to him.
"I don't suppose you heard about the revolution here in France. A pretty cool thing if you ask me. I am impressed by what they've done."
