Andrew grins, as he adjusts his dark glasses. He takes a sip of cocoa.
"Actually, that's perfect. I'm a vegan myself."
Andrew pauses.
"Thank you very much. Um... I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Andrew Kasher, I'm from New Zealand originally, if the accent didn't tip you off. I'm an anarcho-communist, and I read some of your essays on the net. They reminded me of some essays that a friend I used to know wrote, and I thought you might have been her, so I went to track you down. She actually had the same last name and nickname, coincidentally. Small world, I suppose. Er... I'm sorry that this is entirely awkward."

I totally forgot that I have to take Precious in for some shots. This means I head back to Moscow so I can get her to her vet appointment on time. I manage to get her there, but she is always so nervous at the vet. I pet her while she gets her shots.

Everything is so calm here with my relatives. It is nice to have time off of work too. I guess meeting with Mischa and Rei scared me a little and I don´t want to get arrested. But laying low is nice. Eating dinner with my relatives is good. I haven´t been this well taken care of in ages.

After staying in a hotel for one day I decide that trying to hide is useless, so I return to my plane. Immediately I go to my cieling locker in the fore-cabin and get out my laptop to try to get information on the Chechnyan terrorists; I've wasted enough time fooling around with Mischa and I need to accomplish something before Kolov's enforcers arrive...

Nadyenka sits down by the lake, looking out at another beautiful sunset. She begins to compose a letter to Mischa trying to explain some things, but ends up destroying draft after draft, until she finally gives up, unable to come up with a proper way of explaining things. She packs up her bag, and heads back to the cabin for the evening.

I wake up the next morning, and Salome's not with me. I crawl out of bed, get dressed, and head downstairs to get something to eat, feeling a little groggy, and strange about everything. The place is strangely quiet and vacant, and I can't shake this strange sense of deja vu. I head into the kitchen, and sit down at one of the stools after making myself some toast.
I'm really starting to worry about Lillia, she just can't stay here like this... Every time I look into her eyes, I see a shell of what she could be. Everything around here reminds me of Orwell's 1984, everybody is quietly and 'happily' going about their business. Except for Maria. She always has a semblence of peace when she's away from him.
"Can you tell me about Lillia, Maria?" I take a bite of my toast.

"Well, that's not... Shura, we shouldn't talk about her. Are you sure you don't want me to make you anything? You're eating bread and water." Maria asks, standing over a frying pan with some bacon and eggs in it.
"I'm already making Kaschei some food, it won't be a big deal."

I examine my toast then look up towards Maria. She really is beautiful, how did she end up in a place like this? She reminds me of someone else I once knew.
"Shura hon, are you sure you don't want anything? I'm already making food for the other children..."
"No no, that's fine. I insist, I've subsisted on toast and water for most of my existance. Really, it's not a problem. Thank you, though, you just already do so much work around here..." I say, and take another bite. It would be wonderful to have some real food, but I would feel bad if she made anything for me.
"To be honest, your husband kind of frightens me... I hope you don't take that the wrong way... But there's just... There..." I look up and scratch my head.
"...What does he really do?"

Maria keeps her attention on her cooking. She cracks another egg into a seperate pan for Shura, and doesn't respond.
"Be careful what you ask around here, Shura. You've worked so hard for us." She replies, staring into the frying pans.
"Have I shown you around the gardens yet? You look like someone who would appreciate the flowers." She turns around when she says this, and looks at Shura.
"They are really beautiful this time of year."

"No, you haven't." I reply. I suddenly feel a subtle terror well up within me, and know that I have to leave as soon as possible. Payment or no.
"I'd love to go for a walk with you. You want to show me the gardens after you're done, there?" I say, trying to remain calm.
"Maybe you could teach me about some of your beliefs."

"Okay. If you're interested in hearing. But first, eat." Maria says, and sets down a plate of food in front of Shura.
"Then we'll walk."

"Ah okay... Uh, thanks..." I say, offput by this sudden display of generosity.
"I mean, you really didn't have to..." I take a bite. The food is wonderful.
"Wow, you're a really great cook... Thanks... Let's go for a walk after this..." I say, taking another bite. Though I am suddenly disappointed with the second one. I look around, and notice that I'm back at the house. I pretend as though nothing had happened, and hope that I wasn't talking aloud. I quietly finish my toast, and head back up to my room to finish some work.

Next morning, I slowly woke myself up and got off the bed. I still feel tired but there some stuff I needed to do. I went to the bathroom, took a quick shower and changed into clean clothes. I then made eggs and ham and poured myself some grape juice. I took my time eating my breakfast and after I finished eating, I put the dirty dishes in the sink. I grab my bag with my laptop, fis my hair a bit and left my apartment.

Antoine looked at his watch, and sighed a bit. "Actually, I'm really sorry, but I kind of need to get back." He smiled at the woman, and shook her hand again. "Maybe we'll meet again soon." Because he planned on coming to this park more often. So he got in his car, and drove back to Salome's house, thinking deeply. Maybe he should leave. After all, he seemed to be the cause of all Salome's stress and problems.
On the way, he took a detour to an old friend he knew, also an anarchist, very secretive. He was like an underground source for everything, and so Antoine visited him, inquiring as to the location of any other prominent logged anarchists. One name he stumbled across while looking through archives was Aaron Zinner, part of the International Anarchist Coalition. He was a teacher, and lived in London. He nodded, scribbling this information down, then leaving.
He wasn't sure why he'd picked this person, but it was at random. He headed back to the house, entered, and sighed, plopping down on a couch in the living room.
