Post by Kaschei Bessmertny on Oct 11, 2005 18:51:49 GMT -5
Kaschei began his training at the end of last February, sealing himself off in his study at the Ministry of Terror. It is something that he had been planning for a while, and it paid off. He felt twice as powerful as he was before. No doubt, he could easily defeat Lin Sat or Lady Violet at his leisure now...or at least this is what he thought. Then, control of the world would be his. But for now, he would wait. Although most everyone on Earth seemed to have lost their memories once he resumed time, not everyone did, and that put him in a dangerous position within Red Infinity. So, for now, he would keep to himself, and hope that the higher ups of Red Infinity didn't notice what he had done.

Most of the higher ups at Red Infinity were aware of the time freeze, and, Kaschei would have been killed if not for the fact that the time freeze actually worked in favor of Red Infinity. Since most of Red Infinity's leaders were Gods, Dragons, and other assorted immortals, the time freeze did not wipe away their memories or cause confusion as it had with the rebels. Thus, Red Infinity remained largely unscathed by the time free, whereas the rebels were now disorganized, lost, and confused. Some had resumed their normal lives, leaving the rebel movement, and forgetting their purpose all together.
Thus, the rebel movement was now down to just a hand ful of people, instead of the hundreds that it once consisted of.
So, rather than be upset with Kaschei, Lin Sat was over joyed.
Ukko on the other hand remained watchful as always, and just a little worried about Kaschei's new found power.

Post by Valodya Bassarov on Oct 12, 2005 1:20:32 GMT -5
Bassarov returns to his apartment in Helsinki and sits at the table for another long day of reading. If not for his many books and writen records of his life, he would have no idea what is going on in the world now, but, even with the aid of this information, he is still confused. He remembers some things vaguely. He knows who he is and certain important people in his life, but the events are somewhat blury. It is frustrating to put life back together in this haze.
The rebel movement will never be what it was, or, at least it will take a couple years to build it up to that point. That is for certain.
It is depressing that so much hard work was in vain, and worse, that he can hardly remember it.
But, with each passing day, the memories become more clear, and he regains his sense of purpose.
Despite this, he will have to start from scratch rebuilding things.

Post by Jumala Keitoleinen on Oct 12, 2005 1:45:35 GMT -5
Keitoleinen looked out the small window of his office at the League of the Godless in St. Petersburg. Because of this amnesia thing, there were no more religious rebels at the moment, which made his job very boring. Furthermore, all of the less powerful women in Red Infinity also had amnesia, and therefore have forgotten all about him, which made things even more boring.
So, he sat there, drinking a diet coke, and looking out the window boredly. He wished for something...anything. A plague. An Earthquake. There must be something that Red Infinity needed him for.
But no, things at the League of the Godless were dead, more boring than they had been in years.
This almost made him wish that the rebel movement was still around. At least then he was sent to destroy Helsinki from time to time.

Valo suffered from the global time freeze as well. He had been working on another history book, which probably would never get published because of Red Infinity, when the time freeze happened 8 months ago. When he came to, he was at his desk, face to face with his work, but in a haze of what he was doing and where he was. It took him a few days to make sense of things, and even then he was a bit confused. Since he had never been involved in the rebel movement and watched things from the sidelines, he was more worried about time lost in his writing than in the general disorder caused in society by the time disruption.
Taking his pen, he sat down at his familiar desk and started writing where he had left off. It was hard to find motivation in his depressed state, and it was times like these that he thought a lot about his dead mother and empty childhood.

Because Aries is a dragon, he was less effected by the time related amnesia. He, like other powerful members of Red Infinity, knew what had happened, and wasn't overly concerned about it. The only downside was that religious rebels and the group the Eternal Light, were now disorganized if even existant. Not having rebels to fight made him very bored. He would instead spend his days doing paper work or destroying Bibles. It was all rather tedious.
He waited at the League of the Godless Head Quarters in St. Petersburg for orders of some kind. But, for now, it didn't appear he would be fighting rebels any time soon.

"What happened? Where am I?" Lemminkainen asks himself. He looks down and sees a pizza before him sitting on his kitchen table. "Okay...I won't worry about this right now. I'll....like, just eat my pizza before it gets cold." But for some reason or another he can't remember what he's been doing for the past couple of months. Everything is a haze. "Oh well, like my mom said, if you can't remember it, it probably wasn't important."

Valo sets out for a walk. It's dangerous, but since he has never been involved with the rebel movement, Red Infinity ignores him for the most part. His only connection to the rebel movement is that his mother, Henna, was a great socialist, as is his father.
This alone could cause him troubles, but since he keeps to himself, he has never had to pay a visit to the dreaded Ministry of Terror.

(Since Zero does have a small role in YoA I will probaly be creating a seperate account for that character)
When I come to I find myself sitting at my desk in the subway base we had created some months earlier, but with no real idea of why I'm down here or what's going on. In fact the only thing I can remember for sure is my friends, so I decide to go see Bassarov to see if he's also delerious, or if it's just me... Soon I arrive at his apartment and knock on the door.

Bassarov is alarmed by the knock on the door, since he doesn't know who to expect. He isn't even sure if he should answer it. With some reluctance, he goes to the door, and sees that it is Rei, but, since the last few months are hazy, he doesn't even know how to react...
"Hello Rei..." He says. This seems like a dream. Maybe it isn't even real.
"How...are you?"

"Hazy... You used to call me Zero, why is it Rei all of a sudden?" I ask in a confused voice. "Oh well, that doesn't matter... What's going on? Can you... remember?"

"Somewhat. I am not sure what happened. It could be a Red Infinity mind control trick or something. They are getting better at that. And forgive me, I have spent the past few days reading history books, so I have been thinking a lot of the past lately." Bassarov replies.
"I met someone named Rei. I just was reading a chapter about her. It helps me make sense of things."

"That's interesting. Well maybe we should both read history and see if we can find out if anything like this has happened before. I mean it might be Red Infinity, but it might be someone else too..." I suggest as I sit down next to him.

"Hmm..." Bassarov replies. "Well, there was this one time about a year and a half ago...that Kaschei reversed time and we all had this sort of memory loss problem. It was quite unpleasant. A lot of rebels were upset over that."
