"Well your job prospects depend on what field you want to work in... I don't mind working in industrial electronics so I think it should be easy for me to get a job. What field did you want to work in?"

During another recess of the socialist meeting, Oswald walks around the snowy city. He stops in a nice warm cafe for some coffee. While ordering, he notices a man who is attending the meetings speaking to an American teenager. Being the antisocial person Oswald is, he decides to simply eavesdrop instead of partake in the conversation. He sits down near them with his back to them and picks up a Russian newspaper written in Russian, which he can't read. So he tries to look like he is.

"No, they really aren't. But, I am sure you can find a job here in Moscow. I wish I could help you out, but since I don't live in Moscow, I can't point you in the right direction."

"Well, I want to work with something that has to do with litterature. I love to read and write," Kai informed.
"I'm sure there is someone who needs capable workers."

"Well that is kind of a limited field... I suppose you could write book reviews for a library if they'd hire you. Or maybe a newspaper. It wouldn't pay much but it's a start."

"You could be an English tutor. I can think of plenty of people who could use a translator or tutor." Bassarov replies.

"That's a good point. Being in a foriegn country and knowing English might land me a job as a translator."
Kai looked back outside, and noticed it wasn't snowing anymore.
"I guess you were right about the weather."

"I will talk to the socialists and see if we need a translator for anything. Some of us will be traveling to English speaking parts of the world. We may need someone to translate."

"If there's anything hotels have, it's strange designs on the walls and carpet. I sometimes pretend that they're other planets and I'm in a starship or something, watching over them all." Sakari replies. His transformer T-shirt is a lot smaller than he remembered it being, slightly stretching out the already faded logo on the front.
I pull it down to my waist the best I can.
"I guess being a transformer would be equally cool to having a starship..."

Cambridge stares at him blankly. He is very eccentric, more than hir. Sie doesn't make much of it, just that he is somewhat immature. Sie doesn't mind that since at least he is free spirited. Being mature is boring. It is hard. It is hard to handle the seriousness of life.
"That shirt is tiny. I wish I had your body."

"Oh, thank you."
Kai looked at his watch, and saw it was late.
"I think I should go now."
Kai took out a piece of paper, and wrote down his phone number.
"If you do need a translator. Call me here. Thanks for the advice both of you."
Kai waved his hand as he walked out of the Cafe, and down through an allyway to get to where he was staying.

"Yeah, I guess that'd work too." I say. Personally I just speak a few words of English, so I understand how that could be useful. "Bye!" I call out as he leaves.

"What are you talking about? Three of you could fit into this shirt." Sakari replies, heading out the door with Cambridge.
I take note of hir constant self deprications and begin to worry again. Maybe going roller skating will redirect hir thoughts to something more constructive.
"Hey, they play really neat music here. You know that 'loser' song?" Sakari asks, somewhat vacantly.

"Loser? Huh?" Cambridge asks as they enter the roller rink.
"No, but I like the music video for Sexx Laws." Sie says in reference to hir favorite Beck Video. Sie goes to the counter and rents some black roller skates. They match hir suit nicely.

"I better head back to the meeting. I will see you later, Selja." Bassarov says as he leaves. He wasn't paying attention to the time and is already 10 min late.
(I am getting offline for a while)
