"Maybe I could bring the whole youth group camping. We could go camping in Canada since there aren't many forests around here." Grey suggests. He is against camping alone with Rei because he is a Christian and he doesn't want to be in potentially tempting situations.

"Well there's plenty of woods east or west of here, but Canada is closer. Hunting and fishing are fun too, but more difficult."

"I really think the youth group would like doing an ourdoor adventure like that." The wind picks up and brings the kite high into the sky. "I will suggest it at the next meeting."

"Cool. I do think that will be fun and I'm looking foreward to it. I'll need to buy some supplies, but I can get most of them on the base."

"Oh that would be super. But we will plan it for later this season, since it is a little nippy out right now."
"Anyway, my mother should be back now so we can head to my home. I am sure she wants to meet you."
Grey pulls his string and starts to wrap it around the spool, pulling in the kite.

"Okay. I'd like to meet her too." I also begin to pull down my kite, more rapidly than Grey is his.

I notice that Antero and Nea are back. I smile as they sit down. I then turn and listen to the newest speaker, who is talking about prisons.
"Prisons should not exist. It is unnatural for humans to be seperated from one another. We are a social animal. After the abolition of property, there will be no crime, for laws and police exist only to protect the interests of the ruling class. Those other crimes, mostly the result of mental illness, will fade as criminals recieve humane care and treatment. In the future, all criminals will be rehabilitated, not locked away..."

Cambridge listens to the speaker talk about prisons. This is the line of revolutionary socialists as well. It is always interesting to see how similar anarchists are to socialists. In truth, anarchy appeals to hir more than socialism. Sie simply thinks that socialist revolution is more likely than anarchist revolution, and that some form of government is needed after the revolution to help society function in the chaotic wake of a global revolution.

Our hostage, Nancy, is at first very resistant to the messages we are sending her. She refuses to repeat slogans. But as the days pass and she becomes hungry or thirsty, her resolve wears down. She has reasoned that to survive, she must repeat the slogans. When she does, we reward her with food. When she does not, we starve her. And this is how we slowly warm her up to our ideals.

The WTO is now meeting in Helsinki and I am uncertain how the Green Party should respond. Personally, I don't organize rallys or protests, I simply have too many political duties as an MP.
I call Toivo on the phone. The meeting in California should be nearing its end. I decide to give a call and see what he has to say. Maybe if I am lucky he will return to Helsinki early and organize something.
"Toivo dear...I was wondering what we should do about this WTO meeting..."

While I am in the meeting with the Syrian leader, I am informed that there has been some kind of rebelion in a former Soviet republic in Central asia. We do not know the details of the rebellion at the moment, but it appears that protestors have ousted their government there. Since I am still in the meeting, I inform the caller to speak to me later about the incident.

Adam hands me his phone, and I know who it is before he tells me.
"Hey Joutsen. I think we can leave the bigger protest stuff to the anarchists and socialists and maybe just hold an educational. I'm afraid we might alienate some people if we go to a protest that's notorious for police shooting at protestors." I suggest.
"I'm sure there are plenty of nightmareish things in the WTO that people don't know about that we could bring to light."
