"I hate waiting. But you are right. People see that both socialism and capitalism are not the answer. They hunger for something more. Something that will satisfy what humans really want, conquest and glory. No more weak and modest democracies which take from us all longing for challenge and triumph." He says.
"But we both know it, and there is no use saying the things we already know."

"Right." I say as I look over at Rommel, who looks like he's close to blows with the officer. "But there is good news, we shouldn't have to wait much longer..."

"Yes, it looks like the police are backing off. They let communists assemble. It is unfair to be prejudiced against the right." He states with some annoyance.

"And we haven't had rallies like these since the 1930s. Obviously people are interested in a more purposeful life once again."

"It is not so dissimilar. The world's economy is suffering. We need a little something to pull ourselves out of our present shames." He replies.
"But tell me more about yourself Eva..."

"What about me? I'm just a simple girl who's fed up with all these falsehoods of society." I decide right now not to tell him that I am scitzophrenic, as I don't really want that fact to be well known.

"Simple girls do not become fed up with the falsehoods of society." He replies. He closes his eyes for a moment and rubs his temple.
"I have a terrible headache. Could we sit down somewhere for a moment?"

"I guess." I lead him away from the podium and sit down on a bench. "I've been poor my entire life, and only my father's dilligance kept us out of total poverty. No one ever offered to hep us, that's why I'm fed up with society." I state.

"I grew up in Lucern. My parents are well off and active social democrats. I hate it there. In Switzerland, any law can be repealed by petition. We have rotating leadership, so we never have a long term leader but a council of leaders. It is the epitome of democracy."

I roll my eyes. "Until 1945 Germany always had powerful leaders. And even after that, until 1990 it wasn't that horrible, then they followed the way of the French." I say it as if it was a blasphamy.

"Yes, it only makes sense that we pull out of the EU. I don't want to be held back by weaker countries with less prosperous economies. The EU is welfare for...for the Eastern European slav states..."

"You are right about that... The EU is a farce. Europe does need to be united I agree, but it needs to be united under one flag."

"In time. I guess the only good thing about Germans going to Syria would be the chance to fight Israelis." He says off handedly.
"Everything is so boring and fake. I have trouble sleeping at night. My mind is annoyed."

Your mind is annoyed, mortal? You think you're impatient to see this farce end? You have no idea... the voice says in my mind. I try to ignore it but it's difficult. "Beer helps with that, I have trouble sleeping too."

"I would get help, but mental illness is a weakness. I can overcome it on my own. I just think too much about society and it keeps me up at night. Politics is a fever."
