"What? Oh god, don't tell me that you're 'above' food now..." Zivon says, half joking, half serious.
"Come on, let's go for Chinese."

"No, you don't understand. This is really important. I have been liberated of food cravings. In a meaningless life, all food is equal."

"Heikki... Shut up. I'll pay, I owe you anyways." Zivon replies.

"I suppose. I won't fight it..." The idea of wantons becomes more and more appealing. After eating oatmeal for more than a week, he feels a little weak and his skin has taken on a gray hue.

As there is nothing terribly urgent for me to attend to right now I decide that it's a good time to send out an inspirational memo to my coworkers. Being in Africa is disgustingly depressing and I fear that moral is low.
I begin to write:
It's been a very successful month for us within the company. New resources have been acquired through good old fashioned ingenuity, and as such we should all be very pleased. But in case you find yourselves doubting the integrity of our actions remember; these people here in Sierra Leone are not worried about your well being, and you shouldn't be worried about there's.
Are they spending their time wondering if you are properly fed, or if you have good enough health care or a stable home? No, they are thinking only of themselves and their well-being. As you should be. If it's all right for them, it's all right for you. All that separates us is a bit of privilege, morally we are kindred spirits.
In conclusion, good work. Keep it up. The company and I appreciate your devotion and loyalty greatly.
All the best,
- C.C.
I send out the memo and start on some paperwork that I've been neglecting for the past few days. That stuff really does pile up.

"Ah Chinese food is great..." Zivon says, finishing his wan ton. "So what's up with you Heikki, how's Das Ende? I haven't seen any of those guys around for awhile."

"They are planning on overthrowing the German government soon. I made an attempt at the Russian government, but it didn't go well. Maybe I will start smaller...I've been thinking about doing something to the Eduskunta lately."

"Oh yeah, that's why I haven't seen them in awhile. Hey, if you want to get yourself killed, keep it up. The Russians don't fuck around." Zivon says, half apathetic, and half scolding.
"Do they think that killing some higher ups will cause the government to step down? It takes more than that to remove the status quo. You gonna eat that?" I say, taking a wan ton off of Heikki's plate before he can answer.

"They seem to blame any attack on the Chechens. They are more interested in another excuse to attack them than finding out the truth. And at least I am doing something. It may not be enough, but it is more than what you are doing."

"I'm eating your wan tons." Zivon replies, taking another of Heikki's wan tons.
"I suppose you're right. What would they care about some scrawny nihilist attacking their government officials? Even if you came out and admitted it, they'd probably still blame it on the Chechens. Those human rights watch pictures of dismembered bodies are enough to convince anyone of the dirty Chechen's involvement."

"So anyway, I am not afraid of attacking the government. I have no fear. The worst they can do is arrest me. They might even do me a favor and execute me. Oh wait, capital punishment is illegal in most countries. In that case I should watch myself." Heikki replies.
"I've been laying low anyway. It is easy to go unnoticed when no one cares that you exist."
Heikki disects a wanton, and licks the cream cheese out of the center.
