I have a call on the other line, so I put Capulet on hold. I pick up the incoming call.
"The Secretary General's office..."

I nod silently as the truck stops at the front gate of the prison. The door opens and we are unbolted and lead out. "Please Frederick, don't leave me..." I plead, even though I know he is powerless to help me.

"Good morning, this is General Kolov of the United States Air Force. I need some answers concerning international relations that I can't get from Washington and I was wondering if you could help me out."

"Perhaps I can help." I say suspiciously.
"What are your questions, General Kolov?"

"I have been hearing rumors about various left-wing militants in several countries, perticularly Brazil, seriously vying for power, and that international pressure against these groups has become lax. Is this true?" I ask politely.

"There have always been left wing groups of some kind or another vying for power. The same can be said of right wing militant groups and now corporate mercenaries. This is nothing new. But we haven't seen such so many mass revolutionary movements since after WWII with the decline of colonial powers."

Dylan turns around at Jousten, scowling.
"I'm not a girl. Thanks for ruining my evening. I'm going home."
Dylan begins to head out to her car in the parking lot, but trips.
"Fuck, I'm drunk."

"I have noticed as much. However my question was about international pressure. It appears that America and Japan are the only countries now actively attempting to suppress such activity, and I want to know if there is an official explination for this."

I watch Dylan stagger out to the car, and decide to follow 'him.' "Hey, you look pretty toasted, want somewhere to crash?"

Alejos woke up with a mild headache. Nothing special. He went to the medicine cabinet and took some Brand X headache pills, then hopped in the shower and got dressed. He looked around and noticed that Soledad was not in the room. He figured he'd bump into her later. Today was a day of action.
He walked down the street to the home of two fellow revolutionaries. While there they drank beer, smoked cigars & cigarettes, and most importantly... printed out pamphlets for: THE DAY BRAZIL STANDS STILL!

"I believe that other nations have taken up this fight as well, but most nations, the United States included, are more concerned about Islamic Terrorism. At the UN we obviously do not support revolutionary movements, but do not stifle them either. We do not stand against what is the will of the majority in any given nation. That is not our place. It is not our place to stand in the way of social change. Only when it becomes a human rights issue do we become concerned. But in our own declaration of human rights, we observe that workers have the right to demonstrate, strike, and organize. We also recognise that the right to wealth and private property shall only be protected so long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. This is a shady area in our laws."

"Sure.... thanks," Dylan says, smiling a little. Hir speech is a little slurred. Sie doesn't usually drink a lot, but sie had been drinking steadily for the last hour, while Jousten and Chris were talking.
"Here's my keys... it's electric."
It probably isn't a good idea to give hir car keys to a complete stranger, but it is probably a worse idea to try to drive anywhere on hir own. Probably.
At any rate, if the car stays here, it gets towed in the morning.

I scoff. "I see. So it is UN policy to turn a blind eye to terrorists if it appears that the majority of the populus supports them?"

"An electric car? Haven;'t driven one before." I say as we get in. My brother dropped me off since I had planned on drinking, though in reality I only had half a beer. "My house is only about five miles from here, or do you want a hotel room?"

"I dunno..." Dylan says sleepily. Sie's leans her head against the passenger side window.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry if you thought I was a guy. I'm not. But I'm not a girl either, honest. Please don't get weirded out."
