Jose was suddenly bursting with energy in the Club. He ignored the pain of his shoulder.
He tried to bring Erich along.
"Come on Eric. Let's go man. It's time when have a little time to to ahve fun."

"That's true. We do have a lot of disagreements. I think someday it will all work out. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even in my life time. But I have to believe that someday humans will get things right. It keeps me going."

Erich left the club and went back to the hotel room and fell asleep right almost as soon as he hit the bed.

"Thanks." Cambridge walks over to Tom, puts hir knee on the cot and hir hand on his shoulder. Sie gives him a kiss on the cheek then a quick one on the lips.
"I guess we should get some shut eye."

Sakari heads into the room with a box of twinkies, and a container of ice just in time to see Cambridge kiss Tom. He's pretends not to have seen it, although he begins to feel jealous.
"Hey you cats. Who wants a little reminder of home?" I say, opening the box of twinkies.

"Hey, so did you have a nice time out with Alejos. And as you can see Tom is now with us. It's great to have someone from my party here."

"Tom doesn't have a room, so he will be staying in here, if that's okay. They brought up a cot for him. I think I could sleep on the sofa and you can have the bed. Does that work okay?"

"Yeah that works out fine." Sakari says, a little disappointed, but he doesn't show it, donning his poker face. Sakari sits down on the bed.
"Yeah thanks, it was a little unfortunate. But I guess them's the ropes when you run drugs into Afghanistan for a favor." I say, somewhat indifferently although it still hurts to even breathe.
