I smiled looking at the beautiful day in Helsinki. "What a splendid day this shall be!" I said looking out the window. It was sunny outside, it has been a couple of months since I have stayed here. Everything was going quite well. "Mother, do you have class today?" asked Maurice sstanding next to me. "No my dear, I have a day off. I want to take this oppertunity to explore more of Helsinki. Go sight seeing, if thiers anything to see of course." I said with a chuckle. "Well what are we waiting for?" Maurice tingled with excitement in exploring. "In time dear. Now set down and eat your breakfest." Maurice let out a sigh and sat down at the table to finish his meal. I looked at my son and then gazed out the window. Reminds me of the day I met him.....

"Tell me more about your ideas on love, Salome." Heikki suggests. He wants to hear what she has to say about that again. He is interested in what she has to say and respects it more than he respects the ideas of most people.

"I think that people should strive first for a sense of community, secondly for connection to their family and roots, thirdly for friendship, and lastly for romantic love. I put romantic love as the least important since it is the most individualistic."
"I don't know what more I can say than that."

"And what's wrong with being individualistic?" Heikki asks in response.

"I believe the soul flourishes when it finds community. The highest form of love is love for fellow human beings and the human community."
I don't like where the conversation is going.

"That's all made up nonsense and souls don't exist." Heikki replies. He would say more, but for some reason doesn't feel like attacking her stupid ideas.
"That's what I think." He eats his oatmeal and is quiet after that.

I smile and eat my meal as well. Heikki is entertaining to have around.

The group of socialists heads to the mall and sits down at the food court. Bassarov looks around for any unsespecting group of girls who look like potential leftists.

I walk up to the Cantonise place and fetch myself a sweet and sour chicken. I sit back down and start eating.
"I'm starting to think I like this idea. I haven't had Chinese in forever!"

Jose gets up and orders himself something from the Taco Bell the returns to seating down with his group.
He pulled out a Soft Taco and began eating it. Then too little too late realized the Irony.

I look at Jose and giggle.
"You like Taco Bell? I can't stand it; I get heartburn if I eat any as well."

Bassarov goes to Wendy's and gets some vegetarian Chili, but throws it away when he thinks he finds a human finger inside. He shrugs and gets a bottled water, even though that is not a socialist thing to do and people have in the past given him a hard time about it.
"There's some girls there, why don't you talk to them Lysander and hand them some pamphlets."

(Man I'm going to bed it is late and I have school tomorrow.)
"Well just the soft and hard taco, everything else I can't stand. I have had MUCH better mexican food in my life."

"Because, silly, I am eating, and I also do not want to make a fool of myself... But, whatever."
I grab the pamphlets and walk over to the table of girls. Laughter arises from the table and I return a minute later, crinkled up pamphlets in my hand.
"I think thats a no..."
I sit back down and eat more of my chicken, a little more grumpily.

"Sorry. But this is important and I thought the food could wait. That's really too bad."
Bassarov looks over the pamphlets but doesn't feel inclined to hand them out, considering Lysander got shot down so horribly.
