I spend the day looking for work. I leave a note for Rod so he knows where I am. Maybe I should go off on my own. I need to do more politically. I think there are enough anarchists organizing in Helsinki right now. I should get in touch with other anarchists. On a whim I call Shura's cellphone to see what he has been up to and if maybe we could organize something together.

"Don't bother answering that. How annoying." I say when Shura's phone rings. "I like your ringtone by the way." "So, I'm bored. What are you doing tonight?"

Jaffar enters the room and an older man, maybie 50, is sitting at the desk.
"What the hell do you want!" He growls.
"I'm Jaffar Krushev, sir," Jaffar answers respectfully.

"What? Oh, that..." Sakari says, taken aback by the fact that he heard about the mob.
"Well, I just had an unfortunate run in with someone who doesn't like to lose in poker." I reply. "It was an unfortunate run in, but that's why I had to run to Brazil earlier than anticipated." I say, hoping he's content with that.
"Yeah I'm sure Alejos would love to see you guys. What's going on in Germany? Any update on the fascists?"

"They've voted in a provisional government, the Nazis were arrested, and peace has been restored. We arrived too late. Had I not been shot we might have not missed out on all the turmoil."
"I don't expect I will be staying here long."
"Ah...and what should I do about Selja? I don't want to hurt her feelings. Oh, but you really should meet Masha. She is a Russian American, very smart and cute. But a Christian. But not abrassive about it."

"No, we don't have a mission for you right now Mr. Krushev," his boss says. "But I do owe you $20,000 dollars from your last mission." He reaches into his desk and pulls out a bundle of1oo dollars bills and hands them to Jaffar.
Jaffar takes them and leaves the building to go play a small game of poker to pass the time.
About 30 minute later he enters a casino to play poker.

Cambridge returns to the SWM and is given an assignment right away. They are very impressed with all of the hard work that sie has been doing. They are also impressed with the articles sie has been writing about the 4th Interntionale. Because of hir hard work, they want hir to travel back to Dublin to report on some upcoming protests there. They pay hir generously for hir work, and sie leaves the party office feeling pretty good, despite the drama with Sakari and Tom. "Well, on to Dublin then." Sie says as sie drives to the airport.

Jaffar moves into the shadows to await a poker game to open up. He drinks a bottle of water as he waits.

I talk to the workers and they are all very happy about the conditions and glad that Patria has taken over the country. Maybe we had nothing to worry about.
I leave the mine and return to Calithin.
"Well, everyone seems very happy. Good job improving their lives. One man told me that you even donated money for a blood transfusion to his sickly son."
I smile.
"I would like to talk to some people in the government if you can arrange that."
"I would also like to know if Patria is planning on helping out any other African countries."

Jaffar began to become bored. He left the casino and began to walk down the street.

"Any new laws about corporations taking over countries will of course have to be debated and voted on at the General Assembly and then go to the Security council before made law, but I think this is a good start."
I check the clock and see that it is getting later.
"I was able to find out more information about you from some British Diplomats. You protect corporate interests, that's correct? I can see why the United States and Britian recomended you to the commitee."

Sakari smirks. He feels like Valodya has always been lonely when they were together, and now he seems less depressed.
"Good to hear, comrade." I say sincerely. "I'd love to meet her sometime. Maybe when both of you cats are far enough away from Russia for me not to fear for my life, we could all go out to eat together." I suggest.
"I should probably meet with the locals here, I'm guessing that they could use a hand reorganizing."

Jaffar pulls out his cell phone and punches in some rendom numbers. Then he holds the phone to his ear to see if it would work.

"I think some large things are being planned this May Day. Get in on it, obviously."
"And Sakari, I don't want to harp on you, but I think some of the things you have done might get you kicked out of the party were the leadership around. I don't know how to put this nicely, but maybe you should be more careful. We do have some standards of acceptable behavior. Criminal activity is really not acceptable."
