"Well, I'm all yours at the moment. I should be more sensitive to how you feel. Tomorrow I might try to do something with Masha though, if you don't mind." He replies.

"Hmmm... well, I was born in Texas and came down here after attending a meeting of Socialists in Moscow. I'm a strong believer in Trotsky's writings and hope to help make the world a better place. Don't get me wrong; I'm not one of those crazy people calling themselves the massiah, but I do want to help liberate the world from the ball and chain of Capitalism with my Comrades... what about you? Tell me a bit about yourself."

"Go ahead, it's fair." I say. Personally I'm not opposed to a relationship between Bassarov and Masha, even a sexual one, as long as he still pays attention to me.

I won't tell you how old I am, let's just say mid 30s. I am divorced and have a son. I grew up in Finland but lived in America for a while when I was married. I have been in the Green Party for over a decade. I am a fruitarian. I am Selja's older sister. That's about it.

"Good then. And I don't expect you to be loyal to me. If you find a guy or girl you like, by all means, have a nice time and do what you want. People should be free to love who they want whenever they want." Bassarov says as they walk. Talking about things makes him feel better. He feels less oppressed and is glad she is open minded.
"So what would you like to do?"

"Well just walk and talk for now sounds good. It's interesting how different Sofia and I turned out..." I say, wanting to tell him more about my family for some reason.

"Yes, you really are different. But, you look similar. I can tell you are sisters." He says as they walk.
"You'll have to meet my younger brother sometime."

"Yeah, I should. You said he gets along with your parents better than you do... With me and Sofia it's the opposite, I've always gotten along with my parents." I say.

"You are more like my brother and I am more like your sister I think." Bassarov replies.
"Except I am not a fruit eating environmentalist."

"Yeah that's very true." I say and chuckle a bit. "I don't know how Sofia wound up being an enviromentalist. I mean my father was always an outdoorsman, an avid hunter and fisherman, but I don't think she ever went with him. I always thought both were fun." I say.

"True, but I don;t think she took much after my parents. I mean she doesn't eat meat, drink coffee, or alcohol, doesn't... smoke... or go to church..." I say. Both of my parents smoked until recently, which is probaly why I do, and they also do everything else I said.
