Maria squints her eyes, as the smoke inevitably makes its way into her corneas, despite being noticably shorter than all three of them.
"Hi, I'm Pavel's friend, Maria..." She says, under her breath, and follows Pavel inside. Despite being around drug dealers and users by living with Kaschei, her tolerance for second hand smoke is very low. Same with being able to catch a contact high.
The smoke makes her eyes water, and she can't make out where the dog is, but is genuienly curious what this trick is.

I smile slightly. "I'd have a hard time if no one was telling me what to do. Why else do you think I spend all my free time laying around and playing Nintendo? Maybe you should visit my apartment sometime so you can see what I mean."

"Boris!" Pavel says happily. Boris runs up to Pavel, and Pavel picks him up.
"Say hello to Mrs. Bessmertny," Pavel says grinning. He holds the tiny chihuahua up so Maria can see the dog.
Boris is a little dazed, but happy looking.
Pavel scratches Boris's ears.
"So, what was the trick you guys wanted to show me?"

Greg looks to to the woman.
"Hey, sorry, I didn't introductionize myself. I'm Greg, and this is my hetero life-mate, Silent Borya," he says, introducing himself. He then turns to Pavel.
"Dude, check this out. Silent Borya and I taught him to do this, check it," Greg pulls out a joint and holds it out. Boris immediatly snaps down on the joint, putting it in his mouth, then takes a light hit from it. Greg and Borya laugh and giggle. "Awesome dog! Snoogans," he says, then fist pounds Silent Borya.

Bassarov raises an eyebrow. He isn't used to people who actually like authority. It is something hard for him to understand. He is not a disorderly person, but to him authority is power, and power is usually built upon injustice.
He is running out of things to discuss and wonders where the others are.
"That's interesting that you met Cambridge and Alejos. I like them both, but keep in mind that Cambridge comes from another party. They are farther to the left so the answers Cambridge gave you would be different than our position."

"You guy's that's totally not good for him. Cut it out," he says, good naturedly.
"OK, so who wants ice cream? I'd ask you pass me that, but even I have standards, and there is no way I am taking a hit off of that after Boris has been licking his crotch and drinking out of the toilet, or whatever it is that Boris does all day."

Under normal circumstances, Maria would've chimed in with Pavel, though she already feels a little contact high, and can't help but giggle herself.

"Well... It's difficult to explain. I have a brother and a sister, but it's been years since I've seen either of them or my mother. I never knew my father..." I state, not mentioning that my brother and sister are only my half brother and half sister. And I have no clue how many more half siblings I have on my father's side... "So I don't really have much of a family."
