I smile and kiss his forehead. I am glad that I didn't leave. Moments like these make life good. I should never regret or forget that.
I kiss both cheeks and then his lips.
"My beautiful Shura." I say, although he isn't all that beautiful it is a word I like to use.

Zivon wakes up in his car, and decides he should probably get back. He pulls his seat upward, starts the car, then drives back to the apartment.
I climb up the stairs, and immediately see Helvi there at the table, surrounded by crumpled up pieces of paper.
"Are you writing poetry or something?"

I quickly grab as many papers as I can from on the table and scoop them up into my arms.
"I'm just...just practicing Russian again!" I say quickly to cover up what I am doing.
"I am really really really sorry about everything Zivon. I've been thinking about it all day and really I was being irrational. I deserve to be kicked out."

Zivon grimaces, and turns his head.
"No, no... Don't..." I say, shaking my head, and crossing my arms.
"It's not..." Zivon tries to think of a way to say 'it's not your fault', without admitting fault.
"It's just... Well, there... It's not... Just, don't worry about it, I just-" I notice that none of the papers actually has any Russian writing on it. Though I decide not to say anything.
"You don't have to go, please, just don't worry about it... It wasn't as big of a deal as I made it out to be..."

"Well, you see, I just get attached to people and I was kind of attached to you. I, mean, I don't love you or anything that strong, but I...I am attached to you. So I was being irrational. I mean, me expecting you to value certain things would be like...well, maybe like someone expecting me to support the war on terrorism. It is just against my belief system. So, I was being insensitive and I really am sorry. I have to not treat you like you are just another socialist, or yeah..." I try to explain.
"I, made some lemon bars again. They're lemony good"

Zivon stops worrying about taking the blame at this point.
"Ah don't... It's my fault, I'm sorry. I should've been..." I scratch my head and look away.
"More... Sensitive... To you..." Zivon says, then looks back, then over to the counter.
"Those lemon bars do look good." I say, then help myself to some.

I smile slightly and am surprised that he said what he said.
I throw all of my crumpled up goodbye letters into the trash bin and eat a lemon bar.
"You got some stickers in the mail."
"Not that I snoop through your mail, but I saw them there and kind of opened them. And then I kind of used some to decorate your science books covers. See I made these covers with brown paper and magic markers to protect your book, but they needed something more, so I used your shiny stickers."
"I hope you aren't mad, zivon. I kind of used...them all. And then I hid the envelope they came in under the couch cushion since I felt guilty."

Zivon laughs.
"I don't really ah... I don't... Have a lot of use for stickers..." I say, still smirking. "I'm glad you put them to good use... You really put the envelope in the couch cushion..?" I ask incredulously, and contemplate testing this myself.
"Thanks... I mean, well, thanks for getting worked up about it... Not that I like to see you worked up, but it just means that you care." Zivon somehow catches himself saying.
"I mean... You ah... You know... I'm going to grab another lemon bar." I say, then grab another lemon bar, and this time, stand at the kitchen counter.

"Yes, I really did put it in the couch. But when I did, I found some money and an unopened roll of Rollos!" I say happily.
I show him the money and the Rolos. I pop a rollo into my mouth, and then two more. Pretty soon I have a mouth full of chocolate.
"Mwaaahhh."

Zivon laughs again, but this time stifles it.
"Ah, I'm amazed they're still intact and are in their own pieces." I reply, sparing my opinion on the fact that she's eating food out of the couch.
"What were the stickers anyways? They weren't address labels, were they? Or was it that damned make a wish foundation again?"

"I am going to brush my teeth now." I announce and run off to the bathroom for a good 5 minutes.
I come back later wearing my pajamas and a hat.
"Oh, well, I had a fun day, except being depressed. I think I want to go to sleep. And I don't know where the stickers came from. I hope they weren't your license tabs. I can't really read Russian. But they were pretty and red."

"You always wear a hat to bed?" Zivon asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah I sorta just slept all day, I don't know what my day was..." I say, looking around again.
"I should probably get ready for bed too. And I just changed my license plate tabs, so I don't think that was it. They were red and in Russian..? How many stickers were there? How about you show me the artwork?" He suggests.

"Well I sometimes sleep in a hat but it usually falls off when I am sleeping. I like to keep my head warm and haven't you ever heard of a night cap?"
"Okay. I will show you." I take his hand and pull him into his room, then pull the books off the shelf.
The books have brown covers with square red stickers with writing and numbers on them.

Zivon examines the stickers, and sure enough, they are license plate tabs.
"Hey what the hell..." I say, with a frown. "Well... I did change my tabs, so I don't know where these came from." I reply with a shrug.
"Oh well. It looks cute on the book. I don't know how you did it, but it fits... Sort of..." As well as car tabs could fit that is.

"Can I give you a hug?" I ask, but then dont wait and hug him.
"I want to...tackle you. Can I do that. Okay."
And I push him down suddenly, knocking off my hat and sending the rolos in my pocket rolling under the bed.
