Asmodeus looks back at her and smiles.
"but we just started the walk"
he pulls her close again and sighs.
"but if you want to I suppose we could"

Cephrien walks out from the infirmary after getting his left arm fixed.. it is best to keep the arm healthy so it will be more affective in battle. After moving around abit, Ceph decides that now would be a good opportunity to see Miss Lady Violet.. hopefully she is at her office right now...
Ceph began to walk down the hall but soon dissappear and reappear before the doors of Lady Violet's office. He gave the door a soft knock.

Fleur looks up to hear the knock on the door. She looks back down at her papers and continues to fill out the reports while make the final touches to the party she'll be having. "Come in.." she said sweetly.
*Maybe its another operative? I hope it is, and hopefully this one will do better over that impudent buzzard...* she thought as she shuffled her papers, filling out papers, and not to mention organizing them.

Well....are you happy too? Is it because of me or what?" I asked quietly and smile a bit.

He is crouched behind rubble with flames shooting from one side of the building to the other. How he gets himself into situations like this are beyond him. He needs to find a way out of this inferno but has no idea.
Besides the others dont know where the church is. He meant to tell them but there was no time. He had given them a name though so they should have been able to find it by that.
He began to think to himself hoping a certain someone might pick up on it while he tried to find his way out and find the others. What he really hoped was that Void or one of the others would remember the name he had given them and be able to find it.
He braced himself and stood letting the burning rubble fall from his body.
"I will not cower like a pup. I will find my way out of this hell..."

An announcement had come over the radio and it took a long time for the words to register in her mind, but finally she had heard them. "Valodya Bassarov... dead."
Her fingers flipped idly through the pages as her mind raced. How long had her life been devoted to this man in some form or another? How many days, months, years had been wasted in love, in hate, in all thoughts aimed at him? The emptiness in side of her suddenly felt a little more empty. She looked over at the boy sitting next to her, he had only been a pawn to try to once again break into the life of the man that somehow had overcome her better judgement and implanted himself in her life. Now he served no purpose. Trying to seduce him held no allure now. He was merely an unwitting victim that would become another meal and then too would vanish from her life.
Decades... Centuries... They all vanished from her life. How many men had there been? How many tries had she attempted at love to fill the void within? But this one had been different, he had lasted longer than any. That deep, dark sadness in his eyes that mirrored her own... it had drawn her to him... and now he was gone too.
Valo, Bassarov's son sat wordlessly on the sofa, just a space away. Perhaps he had not heard the announcement. He should be more grieved at his own father's death. She almost felt pity for him, after all, she too felt connected to the father, and thus to the son, but pity can only live where love can, and thus it vanished too.
Kaieka took her eyes off of the picture book once more and looked at Valo, he looked so timid and small, hunched over the book.
"I knew your father," She began. "I thought for awhile that he was the one man that I could ever love, even in my own state of being unable to love. Isn't that a funny thing, that I, of all people, was in love with your father, he, being so full of valor and ideals... and me being so empty of both?"

"I really didn't know him." Valo replies. "It wasn't a concern of mine or his." He says somewhat cooly. He feels a bit odd that she knew him probably better than he does.
"It's...really a lot to think about..." He says and then becomes suspicious of why she came to visit him. He feels a bit upset about this... that his worth is attached to someone else.

She knew that her comments might upset him in some way, and they seemed to do just that, but he wasn't long for this world anyway, so it mattered little.
"It may not be your concern, but I wanted you to know. It is important for me that you know. I feel almost akin to you, Valo. Your father left us both unloved, cut us both out of his life.
And really this shouldn't be that hard for you to accept. You told me yourself that you don't believe in anything, so life cannot be all that fulfilling. Books cannot fill the void, Valo. Nothing can fill the void, and so... I will release you from it."
As if it were an act of mercy, she reached one arm around his head and drew him toward her, and just before sinking her fangs into the pale, soft skin of his neck, she whispered, "The world's an evil place, Valo," and then bit down.
A warm rush flowed in and she could feel the pounding of his heartbeat, so fast, so frenzied, she held onto him tightly.

Ceph blinked once and plastered a confused look on his face.. that wasn't Lady Violet's voice.. was it..? He opened the door after hearing the 'come in' and see that it is Fleur..
"Fleur??" Ceph said with a surprised expression.
"Uh! I'm sorry! I must've went to the wrong office.. I thought this was Miss Lady Violet's office.."

"You guys, we need to get to the church. I think that is the safest place, and that's where the other rebels are probably headed too if that one guy talked to them, too." Linette speaks up finally.
