Dylan is driving to the Green Party convention in San Francisco. Sie has a purple electric car. It is absolutely hideous looking, but it gets hir from point A to point B. Dylan doesn't like cars anyway. Sie prefers public transportation or cycling. Still, this electric car has much less impact on the environment than a gas powered car, which is a benefit.
Dylan sings along loudly with the album sie has in hir CD player. The song Dylan is listening to is '(When the Going get's Tough, the Tough get) Karazee' by !!!. !!! is pronounced as 'chk chk chk.'
"Whatever color the sky is is fine by me! Whenever the sun rises is fine by me! But when the going get's tough then the tough get karazee. Yeah, let them huff and let them puff cuz it doesn't fuckin' phase me!"

"There is a lull in the meeing, would you like to just go for coffee now? I need something to perk me up. I hardly slept at all last night."

"Then coffee sounds like a good idea." I say as I get up, but not too quickly. "I saw a couple good looking shops on the way in, but I don't know how expensive they are."

"Hey would you like to talk politics? It looks like there's a lull in conversation, here." Sakari says, looking up at the speaker.
I turn to Bassarov, then back to Cambridge. "Maybe coffee wouldn't be such a bad idea, I think we're pretty close to taking a break here, we could talk politics over coffee." I say, not wanting to imply that we were going to intrude on Bassarov and Selja.

Alejos quirks a brow at this gender neutral socialist, but of course he doesn't say anything. Very interesting. He did wonder what gender this person was, but thought it would be rude to ask.
"Have fun you two," he says to Bassarov and Selja.

"Sure, we can all go for coffee. The more the merrier."

I don't show my displeasure that the other two will be tagging along, rather I put on a smile and lead out. "So what shop should we go to? I mean I am still fairly new here..."

"Whichever is the closest." Bassarov replies.

"Yes, I'll 'see you' later." I reply. In the back of my mind I am already filling out the procurement of funds form needed to recruit this mercenery. In the mean time I call for an airlift by SeaHawk helicopter to the aircraft carrier Nimitz, anchored just 90 minutes away. The nearest helipad belongs to the university hospital, and I already have permission to use it. I begin walking there so I will be there when the helicopter arrives.

((I'm moving your character Lulu, I hope you don't mind))
Toivo, Lulu, Adam, and another friend of Adam's all head to the green party convention. Adam's car is a Volkswagen Beetle which has a lot more space inside of it than it leads on. The bumper is covered in stickers. The ride is shorter than it seems, and they arrive within half an hour.
I walk through the gauntlet of tables put up by amnesty international, green peace, and a few other non partisan organizations, as well as a few anti-war tables which were being staffed by socialists, and some other left causes, such as 'clean water action'.
I clap my hands together excitedly, I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I hope everything goes smoothly... We all pile into the auditorium, which has a good amount of people already there. I sit down beside Adam, and dig my notebook with a pen in the spiral.

"I don't know, I feel a little shy being with such a large group." Sie says to Sakari. Sie glares at Alejos since he was giving hir a funny look.

"Okay!" I reply, turning on my heel and heading towards the on-campus shop. All the tables are outdoors but the weather is not unpleasant. "One or two tables?" I ask as we walk in.

"That's fine, we can have our own table." Sakari says, trying to accomidate Cambridge. He didn't really feel like he would be interacting much with either Bassarov or Selja anyways.

Dylan parks next to a Volkswagon beetle covered in stickers.
Sie walks inside, and heads for a seat near the front of the auditorium.
"Hey, is this seat taken?" she asks a guy. (Toivo)

Cambridge finds a seat which is isolated from everyone else. It is in a private corner of the cafe.
"Sometimes I just hate being around people."
