"I would love to hang out. I live on campus at the U of ND Bismark. You can come on over anytime! I do drama, golf, and pep band on campus. Maybe you could see me perform or play golf."

"Perhaps." I look over at the meeting and see the crowd cheering, but the senator makes no move to step down. "It appears that the rally will be going on for awhile yet. I need to spend some time at the firing range, but if you don't want to do that we could go back to my apartment and talk indoors."

"I'm kind of more of an indoorsy guy to tell you the truth. We can go back. I just wanted to check on my mother. It seems she's doing just fine!"

"Allright." I stand up and lead him back to the gate, where we check out and go back to my apartment.
"Well here we are. It's not much, but I don't really use it a lot." THere is a bedroom, living area and kitchen. The living area is clean but not very orderly, with a cheap stand with a large TV on top of it, a game console on the floor, a full ashtray and a couple empty soda cans are also on the floor in front of the couch.

"I think this is a perfectly charming place." He says as he looks around.
"So tell me about yourself. It's really great you're serving America. I could never do what you do."

I think for a second, trying to remember what about me is classified and what isn't. It's difficult because I almost never talk about myself. "I'm a major in the Air Force, special forces division, under General Kolov. Usually I am just a messanger, but I also do odd-jobs occasionally. What little time I have off I spend here, alone. Really there's not much to tell, I really am my work."

"I see. Well hopefully you can learn to have a little fun. Like I said, I am in some clubs in college, my mother is a Senator and my father is CEO of Nokia. Um..I am a Christian. Are you religious?"

"I believe in God, but I never really went to church. I probaly should, but I seldom have the time. I... I never really knew my parents. At times I wish I did, but I don't think about it very much." I sit down on the couch.

"They say that your relationship with your parents is symbolic of your relationship with God. Since those that are not close with their earthly father have a hard time getting close to their heavenly father. If you want...you could come to my church sometime. I would love to have you come. I am a youth leader there and sing in the choir. Hey, I know! Why don't you spend Easter with me and my family. I would love to share my faith and family with you!"

"That's a good idea." I say, immediately deciding to put in a request to have Easter off. General Kolov at least used to be a Christian so I know he'll understand. "I'm already looking foreward to it. As long as it's allright with your family... I fight for a living, I smoke four packs a day and am still pretty naive..."

"Come on, it's Easter. It is not the time to judge people. It is a time of hope and renewal. My father will be in Finland so it will only be my mother and I. We would love to have you over, there will be fewer left overs then! I'll pick you up for Church at 8am on Sunday, then we'll have Easter dinner later in the afternoon."

"I'm looking foreward to it. Really I don't do much except work. Maybe it'll be nice to get away from my job for awhile."

"It would be good for you. I think the key to happiness in this world is a relationship with God. I think you will be a lot more joyful in life and work if you come. So, I'll see you Sunday. Nice talking to you Reiko." He says with a smile. He excuses himself and leaves her apartment, walking back to her car. He whistles a happy tune as he drives away.
(Have a good night!)

"Yes, I'll see you Sunday." I say in a pleasant tone. In all the world I finally found someone I can see eye to eye with on most subjects, and he even lives close to home. Contentedly I put in one of my favorite movies and spend more time thinking of him than watching the screen.
(You too, cya later)
