"Oh... wait, you saw it all happen? And you didn't try and help me? Oh, thanks alot," he says in a tone of false anger.
"Anyway, look... There's some money in my mattress at Cheech and Tommy's. That should help you with bail... or at least bribing a corrupt official," Alejos says, recieving a smack upside the head from the guard who's been assigned to listen to his phone call. Alejos turns to him.
"Do I tell you how to run your affairs? I don't think so. Shut up and let me talk," he said, returning to his conversation with Bassarov.
In truth, the money in his mattress was forged American bills, but they would do.

((Skipping ahead, because I only want to post once with this character tonight))
The kibbutz decides to contribute in any way possible to stop the new Nazi state.
Michal has decided that she is going to join the Israeli army. Israel is going to wage war on Germany. It has to.

"Fine, I can get the money for you. And yes, I did see it, but I have already been arrested and didn't want to get arrested again. Sorry. But hey, leave things to me. I'll get the money as soon as I can."
"Just give me directions to Cheech and Tommy's and I'll head right over there."

"Out to the garden." Maria replies, and tugs on his arm. "You'll feel better, come on." She says, letting go. She leads him outside into the back yard. The yard is huge, and a walkway leads from the door, to the pond in the far back. Maria convinced Kaschei to buy this house when her father was still alive, and her father ended up paying for it.
The path is nothing more than stepping stones, and on both side is a servant working in the garden, tending to the plants. The servants look up briefly, then go back to tending to their work, it was nothing new to have Maria back here showing a stranger around. She always loved it back here.
"Would you like to go to the woods or go to the pond?" She asks Pavel.

"Right on, thanks..." Sakari says. He does his business, then comes out shortly after. He sits down beside Sayuka, and twiddles with his mask, spinning it around on his fingers. He doesn't say anything so's not to interrupt Harold or Sayuka.

"Okay." I hand out the information packets I'd prepared earlier. "We are certified under ISO 9001-2000 and the new OSHA safe mining laws. Our workers are represented under the Mine Workers Union locak 241 and the International Miner's coalition." I explain. "Our workers make above the standard miner's wage of $30 an hour, plus have full medical, dental and vision benefits."

"Ok, you remember that resteraunt where I tricked you into eating the volcanoe spicy food? From the entrance, facing the street, take a right. Head down a few blocks and take a right at the 3rd traffic light.
"Head down the street for a while and you should see three hookers on a street corner; a tall anorexically skinny one, a short and fat one, and a relatively normal, albeit skantily dressed, one. Take a left once you get on the same street as them.
"Head down a little further and you'll see a demolished building. The one on the right of that is Cheech and Tommy's house."

I sit and listen, mostly to be polite as I am not terribly interested in the labor agreements. I already saw what I was interested in.

Pavel feels like panicking.
"I... Don't know. Whatever you like to do."
Pavel is confused, and depressed right now. Usually, people don't ask him what he likes to do, unless they want him to talk dirty or something, and even then, he just says what they want to hear.
Pavel wishes he had more cocaine, so he could keep coasting on his high.

"Okay, I should see you soon." Bassarov hangs up the phone and follows Alejos' directions. He finds the demolished building but he sees a few houses and apartments to the right of the ruins. He is not sure which one is Cheech and Tommy's. He knocks on a door and is met by a large man and a barking black dog. That wasn't the right home.
He appologises and goes to the next house. He assumes this is the one, even though he has not met Cheech and Tommy. Although it is late in the day, everyone in the house is slumped over chairs or on the floor. They must have had a hard night of partying.
Bassarov sneaks into the bedroom and searches the mattress for the money. As soon as he finds it, he rushes out of the house and takes a taxi to the prison where Alejos is being kept. The money is just enough for his bail.
He waits in a lobby area for the guards to get Alejos.

"I don't think we have any more questions or concerns. Thanks for your time." I say to Harold.
I am worried about some of the other things happening in the world. I am worried about Congo mostly.

The taxi picks us up and brings us back to the train depot. I look at the others.
"Now where should we go?" I ask them.

"Okay, let's go to the pond." Maria suggests. She leads him to the pond, where there isn't anybody else around, and walks out to the end of a small dock where a boat rests. She sits down on the dock, and has a fear of open spaces, like being out in the water, so she doesn't ever take the boat out.
"The water's pretty warm if you feel like swimming." She says, looking out into the pond. She turns around, and looks back at Pavel, who looks a little awkward.
"Come, sit down." She says, patting the space next to her on the dock.

"Thanks Harold." Sakari says, shaking his hand. "Can I keep this?" He says, pointing to the mask. "Thanks!"
I follow Sayuka, Zero, and Heikki out to the taxi.
"Yeah me too. Mines are scary, I don't think I'd like to work there. Even for $30 an hour. What do you think Zero?" Sakari says.
