Glen hopes that any moment now some soldiers or the "real" German police will storm in and arrest all of the nazis. He looks at Marty and to all of the others standing in a row. He feels less afraid than he did a few moments ago. He waits for something to happen. None of this seems real, and because it doesn't seem real, he is not afraid.

"At first, we outnumbered the police... then more and more started showing up... and that's when things went to shit," Alejos said with a sigh.

After searching several databases on known socialist activists and writers I come up with contact information for a Cambridge Brackenfield, female, age 21, resident of Cambridge, UK. As soon as the plane is on the ground I disembark and dial her number on my cell phone, wondering if I can reach her or not.

I am busy reading when my cell phone rings. I pick it up, but don't recognise the number. "Hello?" I ask the unidentified caller.

Marty looks over at the others, then back to the line of Germans, all of which have rifles in their hands. Someone nods to them, and they all raise their rifles. Marty's hair stands on end when this happens, and jumps noticably, then the command for fire.
A bullet drives through Marty's skull, and he collapses beside Glen and the other anonymous comrade beside him. He lays limp and lifeless.

"Armed stand offs against the police will only work if you have hundreds of workers from all over the city. Everything has to be so well organized. But we are all learning through experience." Bassarov replies.

"Hello, you don't know me but my name's Rei Usagi. I recently read several articles of yours and was rather impressed, and would like to discuss it with you if that's allright with you." I say.

Alejos just shrugged. "Yes, I suppose... I still can't help but wonder who sold us out..."

"I guess so. Go ahead, what do you want to discuss?" I ask her. I am not really in the mood to discuss, but go along with it anyway since I don't want to be rude. I am kind of worn out from flying from Israel and a little stressed about world events.

Glen is shot as well, and falls to the ground. Even as the German's lifted their guns, he held out some hope that this was all a charade. He, and the other dissidents in the room are the first cassualties of what could be many.

"I am just interested in discussing socialisim in general, and your specific views on the subject of politics and government. I can buy you some dinner, or a drink or something for your time." I say. I pull a Palm Pilot out of my pocket and watch the call trace information go through, and am surprised to see that this Cambridge is in London right now.

"Maybe it was one of us. It has to be someone with insider information, since this is happening too often."
"But I trust everyone, so that is pretty impossible."

"Sure, there is a cafe across the street from my hotel. I'll give you the directions." I give her the directions to where I am staying, which is actually a hotel/hostel near Hyde Park.

"Oh, please," Trotsky said, appearing on Alejos' shoulder. "None of your comrades would betray you! It's not an insider. They were just lucky."
"Oh, who's being naive now, Trotsky? Alejos, YOUR comrades may not have betrayed you... but what about comrades in other political movements," Stalin said, taking advantage of Alejos's paranoia to get him to agree with him.
"I trust most everybody in the 4th Internationale... but what about those SWM people? They're pretty against inciting revolution, claiming it has to be a natural thing," Alejos says, agreeing with shoulder-Stalin.

"Okay, I'll see you tehre in a few minutes." I say before disconnecting. I make a brief stop to pick up some fresh coffee and latte-style creamer, since I don't know what she likes, and sit down at a table near the edge of the cafe and wait.
