"Everytime we tell him something, the police know about it. He's counter-revolutionary scum, and must be stopped ASAP..."

I agree. What do you think you'll do? What can you do? Just tell him to leave us alone?

Heikki walks to a park and spends some time sitting in the grass looking up at the clouds. This makes him happy as he is content in his freedom. Although he has little money, he enjoys this sense of independance. But, there is that looming feeling of loss being away from his friends. After some time along to think, he gets up off the grass and goes to a phone. This time he calls Shura and waits for him to answer...

What do we do when someone does something like that? We can't really turn them into the police, since the police wouldn't care. We can't kick him out of the party...since he isn't in our party, is he? It's a really hard situation. Maybe just avoid him. If you avoid him and keep secrets from him, he won't be able to tell the police on us.

Alejos just shrugs. "Who knows... for now, I shall watch him like a hawk."

"You do that." I say, then get quiet since I thought that I heard my parents. It was just the dog and was a false alarm.
I really miss you. I say and put the phone in my other hand since it was getting tired.

I feel a little sad inside. Talking on the phone makes me feel farther away and more confined than I am.
"I'll be back soon. Maybe when I get back we can celebrate. We can go to a movie together."

"So long as it's not another depressing movie," he said, teasing Soledad about her choice of films.

I better get some sleep. I'll call you again tomorrow night. And after we both say goodnight, I hang up, put the phone back, and go to bed.

(I have some things planned for Venezuela, so sorry Masha but I have to move things along) Bassarov looks at the time and knows that he can't spend long with Masha, even though he hasn't seen her for a couple of days. This bothers him, but he needs to have priorities. "I have to pack and get ready for Venezuela. As I said, I am leaving tomorrow. If you want to come along, you are more than welcome, but if not, I will come back and we can go to Russia together. I leave it up to you." Bassarov says to her. He feels rushed and his judgement is a little cloudy. He puts his hand on her shoulder and gives her a quick kiss. He does not wait around to determine if it was welcome or not, since he really has to get a move on. So, before she can say anything to him, he rushes off and back to the hotel. Once there, he goes online to buy his tickets and starts packing.

I have been waiting quite a while to speak with Rommel, and, growing impatient, I walk up to his office and enter. Maybe this was a bold move, but I would rather not be left sitting outside for another hour or two when my schedual is as busy as it is.
"Hello Mr. Rommel, I am sorry if I am interupting something but I am running a tight schedual and you did agree to meet me." I say to him as I enter. I try to sound as warm and polite as I can, but I am slightly put off by this.
I smile at his secretary and take a seat before his desk.

I return to Sakari sometime later and note that Heikki is no longer with him.
"Oh, has Heikki left us?" I ask him as I look around the room. I was indifferent about the nihilist anyway, so it bothers me very little that he is gone.
"Anyway, do you think you were interested in joining my party? Or would you like some more time to think?"

I leave Shura and return to the apartment that I share with Rodney. I have not seen Rod lately and fear that perhaps I have hurt or offended him. It is a difficult situation.
I try not to think of it while I pack my things and make some calls to France. I should be able to work at a factory again, and this pleases me. I enjoy doing physical labor, but regret that I am not a strong person and that I lack endurance. But I will work until I burn myself out or get injurred at the job, whichever happens first.
It is a strange thing to desire this kind of work and I take some pride in work related injurries. I even volunteer for more dangerous tasks. I want to suffer. Maybe suffering makes me feel more genuine. It gives me some legitimacy to believe what I believe.
And as I pack, I think of Shura, whose strength authority I lean towards like a sickly plant. It is a disgusting thing for me to do, but something I can not help.
