"Okay, thanks. Well maybe I will give you a call then." Heikki says, looking at his hand. He looks towards the train station. "I am heading out of the city for a while. Maybe we'll meet again." He says as he starts to walk off.

Heikki walks away and enters the train station. Before long, he boards a train to Brazil. He doesn't know what he will do once he is there, but it is time for a change of scenery. He sits back in his seat and closes his eyes.

I turn to Dylan. "So what is a guy like you doing in the Green Party anyways? You don't seem like that type to me... Then again I mostly hang out with motorheads so what do I know?"

"I love politics," Dylan says, shrugging hir shoulders. Sie doesn't really notice that Cris still thinks that sie is a male, since sie consider's 'guy' a rather neutral term. Hir voice is pretty girly anyway.
"I want to make the world a better place for people."

"Well that's always a good thing. My family and I try to donate to charity when we can, and we've auctioned off a couple of classic cars for charity, but that's about the limit of my involvement." I confess as we walk into the convention.

To be read at the United Nations General Assembly.
I am announcing today our intention to withdraw all Australian defence force personell from all engagements excepting humanitarian missions. We will also be withdrawing from all alliances and treaties except with our near neighbors. New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
We will however remain active members of the United Nations and will continue to support the united world community. We will be persuing a policy of independance and peace with ALL countries and we will not be led nor forced into committing acts of violence and war in the name of security.
We all know of the dire state of the world at the moment and we all fear for our communities in the face of an exploding terrorist onslaught but we will not use this as an excuse for unfair and unwarranted attacks on our citizens and the citizens of the world. Australia will also be withdrawing from the World bank and the World Trade Organisation. This does not mean we will cease providing aid to impoverished peoples and we aim to continue to deal wherever possible with our valued trading partners.
Thankyou

While I am waiting for Rommel to acknowledge me, I recieve an emergency message. I step out of his office to take it and am very shocked. "But Mikk Denham is a democratic socialist. I don't understand why he would make such a dramatic change in foreign policy. I...nevermind. I will visit him personally to better understand what motivates his decision"
I stand there in shock, not really sure what to make of this newest development. At least Australia will remain in the UN and involved with humanitarian work. This is far less dramatic than what Germany recently did. Nevertheless, I am very worried. I am worried mostly by how certain countries may react to this and how this just throws yet another unexpected element into world politics.
I send a message to his office that I would like to visit him later this week. Otherwise, I have Germany to worry about at the moment.
Is the whole world falling apart?

Bassarov heads out looking for other socialists in Caracas. With no luck, he decides to sit down and have something to eat. He sits down and looks over an english version of a newspaper. Speaking Spanish would certainly be useful right now.

I quickly walk through different crowds of people, trying ti go to my suite but I stop and some childern, which I believe they are around 7 or 8 years old or something and currently playing football(soccer).
I shouldn't be a hurry. I still have about a week or so to contact my brother.
I sat on a bench and began taking pictures of the childern playing and then through my camera, I saw a man sitting, reading a newspaper. I stared at him a few seconds before I took his picture

((Sorry I haven't been posting much, despite being unemployed I have a crazy schedule...))
I head out of the bar, smelling of beer, with my arm over Lemmenkainen's shoulder.
"Jeez, that was mean..." I say, then stand up, taking my arm off of his shoulder. "Sorry if I got beer on you. Damnit, I didn't get to finish my vodka either..."

As I walk down the street I spot Valodya Bassarov sitting at a table at a bistro. I decide I need a break and sit down across from him. "Hello again."

Vance Ashland was enjoying a delicious steak when he recieved news of the changes in Australian foreign policy. He was mildly annoyed to be disturbed during his dinner but took the call none the less.
"How amusing. Well, isn't this just lovely? We will have to have words with their ambassador. I must remind them that if our our business interests there are in anyway in peril this could lead to a very unpleasant relations between us. Furthermore, it is displeasing that they will be withdrawing troops from the coalition work we are doing." Vance says over the phone.
"Inform the ambassador that we are VERY concerned about our business interests and collaborative efforts in our war on Terror. This change in their policies may have a VERY negative impact on our fine and friendly relations."
With that, Vance hangs up the phone to finish his dinner and consider the implications of Australia's change in policy.

Bassarov looked over when a camera flashed. He saw a young Japanese woman sitting near him, as well as Rei who had just approached him. He wasn't sure who he should talk to first...
"I don't like having my picture taken. I always end up looking goofy." He says to the woman with the camera. Then he turns to Rei.
"Oh, so you're here too? A small world."
