"My dear Alek."
I walk around to her and touch her shoulder lightly.
"Death is such a cop out. I mean he doesn't learn a damn thing at all that way now does he? We need to make him remember his pain. Feel worthless and ashamed for what he did to you. I mean who does this wretch think he is? Makes one wonder exactly what brain damage he must have aquired. No we make him suffer somehow."
I move to sit adjacent from her smiling roguishly and i raise an eyebrow.
"He will be punnished but how to do that? Tell me does he hold anything dear? Family, friends, pets?"
I lean back and let my head rest against the top of the chair.
"Anything at all that we can use would be helpful."

His only friends are the peabrains in his party who are in South America trying to make trouble.
I cross my arms and make a pouty face.
There is some kind of power struggle there. Maybe we can do something to make sure that the capitalist side comes to power. Like, that would kind of get him back.
Harper is so much smarter than I am. But he's a guy so he is used to thinking about things like politics and world stuff.
Obviously it would suck if countries started going socialist and stopped trading and started taking over businessnes that don't belong to them. So maybe we should do something about this.

Cornelius is walking down the street with a cadre of men in red shirts, all holding staplers and stacks of paper. From behind a group of kids can be seen loading some printing equipment into a truck and looking around suspiciously. Dank's group encounters Hope. He hands her a flier. Hello comrade. Have you heard of the ISP?

I take the flier and stare down at it, then glance back up to him.
"I have heard of you. I am a member of the British Labour Party actually. " I reply to him.
I fold the flier up and stuff it into my purse. I turn to Calithin, feeling suddenly uncomfortable.
"My name is Hope Dayspring, and you are?"

I stood from my seat and moved towards her. I bowed before as if she were royalty grasping her hand and taking it into my own. I kissed the top of it gently and smiled up at her.
"My dear I am sure that there is something that can be arranged. With your resources and our combined money we should have the means needed. However we need someone who is familiar tooth and nail with the happenings there. Is anyone on your payroll who might be able to help us? And perhaps doesn't have a problem with a bit of dirty business?"
I keep her hand. I always felt she was a beauty however I could never afford her tastes even with my own wealth.

British Labour eh? How are things in the center?

Hmm, you could export some condoms that give people STDs and we could just tell all the rich people not to have sex until all the poor people get sick and die off. But then if that happened, there would be no one left to work for us so maybe that isn't a good idea. It might cause quite a scare though, and distract people from that socialism stuff. You can't protest and strike when it hurts when you pee.
I know I am cruel, but I really want to come up with something that will twart our enemies.
Maybe we should like...travel there and figure out something when we arrive.
I smile when he kisses my hand. What a charming guy.
That's really sweet. Now that the mafia killed my daddy, I can date whoever I want to, even if they are poorer than me.

"I AM a socialist you know. Just because I don't go around calling for revolution, doesn't mean I don't support sensible reforms towards our goals." I reply to him with mild irritation.

I have not seen Alejos lately. I finished giving arms to the workers, but have been so busy I have not had time to talk to him in at least a week.
I wonder where he is?
I head over to Cheech and Tommy's to see if Alejos is there or if he is off doing political work.

Inside of my head I roll my eyes. Surely she was not speaking of me like that. Or maybe she was refferring to that Lysander fellow. I keep my composure and smile up at her flashing my perfect teeth.
"Well that settles it then. We are off to see what we can do to make this mess work out for capitalism. Although your first ideas were great it would kill my own empire. I mean if it were made known condoms gave the diseases I'd be done for. However you were not to far off base. One thing we can definately do that could work as a smokescreen for a bigger plan, one we will come up with after we arrive, is we can have someone find the main supply of water for Lysanders comrades. We can infect it with a simple virus which usually can be cured with a vaccine. However this vaccine will be limited in distribustion there and also will not be able to be shipped from anywhere since after we land we can have the air sstrips closed. They will be sick but not die. Thus leaving us with a weakened foe. We can use this to come up with a grand plan to teach them all a lesson. And we will still have workers for our import export trading. What do you think?"
He stands up and offers to help her up as well.

Mmm...socialist like Kerensky? Sensible reforms to placate the workers as long as possible to prolong capitalism? Capitalism cannot be reformed you know. Just ask Rosa Luxembourg, who was murdered by reactionary proto-nazis deployed by the SDP in Germany. You and your ilk are counterrevolutionary. Especially in Venezuala. Do you honestly expect the U.S. government to stand by as you enact your "sensible reforms?" Have they ever? Did they tolerate Chavez?

That's a wonderful idea, Harper! I am sure they are all staying a hotel, so we could simply put the viris in that water supply. Oh, you're a genius!!
I clap my hands happily and give him a hug.
I am so glad that you came here, Harper. I get so alone not having people like me to talk to! Oh, you're just so wonderful! This is perfect!!!

"Democratic socialism has done a world of good for Western Europe. Just look at Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and the like. Revolutionary socialism of any sort has done nothing but allowed for human rights violating dictatorships and a new bureaucratic class based on party membership."
"How can you even believe in revolutionary socialism? Did you pay any attention at all to the 20th century? My word!"
"But, say all of that was a fluke or born of certain conditions. What is to prevent the same thing from happening again?"
"At least reform is the safe way of doing things. And frankly I would rather be safe than sorry."

"I am glad you approve. However there is one thing we must do before going there to ensure our victory above those idiots. We my dear lady will have the vaccine administered to us. Our blood will carry the antibodies as well as any other capitalist who is going to be in on this. We will bring over enough for all of them. When this is over and we have one the poorer of us will freely offer up their blood to make the vaccine for the peasents. I thought that was a nice touch. The only way they truely survive is through us solely."
I smile because sometimes even I amaze myself. I guess I didn't sleep all of the time when I was paying my way through college.
"And I also feel the same way. It gets boring when people agree with you all of the time and suck up. Its so much better when there is challenge and even a bit of splurging involved? Shall we get this underway? Perhaps I can take you to dinner before we leave. Stay a few days here giving the virus ample time to distribute itself."

Harper that would be lovely, but considering all that is happening there, maybe we should leave at once! I don't want them to beat us to the punch. I laugh and go to my room to pack some things. I always pack more than I need, but a person should pack at least 3 different curling irons, because you never know how large you want your curls.
I also pack about 5 pairs of shoes, which is really pretty modest considering we might be gone for an entire week!
When I am all packed, I return to the living room with several bags.
Now, we should get going on this right away, perhaps the day after we arrive. The early bird catches the worm you know. My father told me that. He had all kinds of mottos on how to get ahead in this world
I think about my father and feel a little sad.
