Well, there is only one cure to that. You could get to know me. I mean, you are the first guy to not just want to jump on me then leave. She walks to stand infront of him so she can look him in the eye. I'd like to get to know you.

"There is not much to know, but, maybe, if you wanted, you could go to Russia with me and meet my sister and friend Zivon. I guess if you met the people who know me, it would give you insight on who I am. I am planning to go next week, and although I am sure it sounds a little odd to go travel abroad with some stranger, I really am harmless." Heikki says, though he has no way to back up his claim of being harmless.

Natasha looks thoughtful. He really does look harmless but then...so do spiders. How about I leave before you? I was going to take some time off anyways. I could meet you there. (gotta leave after the next post)

Heikki scratches his head. "I suppose I could meet you in Russia then. I was hoping we could spend some more time together before then, but, whatever you want to do." He says to her.

I return home from work at the factory and see that the girl who was on the couch must have left. I decide to sit in the back yard to enjoy my afternoon, but find that Heikki is actually out there with the very same girl I saw before.
I step back inside hoping that they didn't notice me. I wonder who she is. Heikki mentioned that he might invite his sister. That could be her.
I sit on the couch and read La Monde, wondering who the mystery woman is. I feel a little nosey.

Well... I mean your not leaving till next week. I could leave a day or two before you. She looks at her watch and frowns. I better go home. Bunny should be getting off by now. Um... I'll come back later, okay? She steps away, hesitates then comes back to kiss him on the cheek. That really was a nice kiss, Heikki. Thank you. She steps back inside, not really noticing the woman by the door, and puts her coat and shoes on. She waves at Heikki as she leave and goes home. (night)

Heikki watches her leave, and stands there in a daze before slowly going back inside. Inside he sees Salome sitting on the couch reading the news. "Oh..uh..hey." He says to her as he timidly enters the room. His hand his shaking.

"Who was that, Heikki?" I ask him with an arched eyebrow.
I smile and see that he is blushing.

"That was...that was Natasha, I just met her. She's an anarchist." Heikki explains. He wrings his hands then finally sticks them in his pockets so he doesn't fidget.

"Ah, I see. A romantic interest, perhaps?" I say, eyeing him with my keen gaze.

"I...I don't know about that. She's nice and pretty...and well, I don't know. I am just getting to know her." Heikki replies. He feels a little on the spot. "I have some...things to do." He says and rushes upstairs to his room. He shuts the door behind him and takes a deep breath. "Phew...okay, I'm okay." He says to himself, then sits down on his bed. He smiles to himself and lays back.

I laugh and go to my own room. Shura is upstairs at his desk, working hard on a map. I step up behind him and kiss him on the cheek.
"Work was good. Did you see that Heikki had a girl over?"

I turn my head and smile.
"Are you serious?! Good for him!" I say, somewhat paternalistically. I lean back in my chair, and wrap one arm around her.
"Sorry I've been so distant lately, I'm not mad at you or anything, I've just been thinking." I say neutrally.

"Yes, I am happy for him. I hope it works out." I say, feeling in a pleasant mood.
"And I understand." I feel entirely differently than yesterday. I sit down on his lap and put my arms around his neck.
"I am not interupting you, I hope."

I smile, and kiss her on the nose.
"Nope, not at all. I was considering taking a break anyways." I look at the clock, and I've been working pretty much all day. I rub my eyes.
