Here are the rules if you are planning to have a character on both Red Infinity and Years of Anguish.
1. You do not need two profiles for time traveling characters. One profile is enough as long as the character is similar enough. So, if you have a Red Infinity character who travels back in time to Years of Anguish, if that character is pretty much the same, they do not need two profiles (though it might be helpful if you posted the same profile in both areas for our reference) So, for example, Andrew Kasher would only need one profile, since his character is similar enough between Red Infinity and YOA.
You do however, need a realistic avatar and a last name (or good reason for not going by a last name) if you are going to post on YOA.
2. Immortal characters do not need two profiles if they are similar enough in each RPG. So, if you play as a dragon in YOA for instance, you do not need a new profile here. You could help us though by posting your YOA profile here with your new allignment (Red Infinity, rebel, neutral) for our reference, but you don't need a whole new one.
So for instance, Valkoinen would not have to write a new profile here. He could post the old one, with maybe a few additions, and it would be acceptable. This makes it easier to cross post.
However, you still need a realistic avatar and first and last name for YOA. And, even if your character has powers, you can not use them on YOA.
3. Relatives of characters DO need two profiles. So, if you play as say, Heikki Toivonen on YOA but play as his nephew Valo Toivonen on RI, you must have two profiles with individual character information.
4. You can only play as a maximum of two characters per account. So, if you play as John Smith in YOA you can play as James Smith in RI on the same account. You can not however play as John Smith, James Smith, and Roy Peterson on the same account. It would be too confusing. The ONLY exception to this is if you play as a pair of characters who get turned into or reincarnated as another pair of characters.
So, Punch and Judy (which is one account) could play on here as Jack and Jill or whatever on the same account.
Or Kate and Jessie Zhang (also on one account) could play as another set of twins.
So the exception here is with characters which are accepted as a pair in that they always post together.
5. Red Infinity characters can only travel back in time if they have a realistic avatar and pretend to have no powers in YOA.
(the no power rule and realistic avatar rule to YOA may eventually change, but for now, the rule stands. If you have questions about your avatar ask me, since some drawings and CGI are acceptable. However, anime pics are usually not (unless they are black and white or done in an unusually artistic or interesting way).)
Red Infinity characters who meet the above requirements, only need one profile.
6. All sorts of avatars and names are accepted on Red Infinity. I do prefer realistic names and realistic avatars, but, this is just a request, not a requirement.
7. You are allowed an anime pic in your signiture if it also has a realistic picture in it. So, for example, you could make your own signiture using what your character looks like in RI on one side and YOA on the other side.
