"I'm sure that when the leadership returns, they will compensate you." Sie says as they walk together to a cafe. Sie is optomistic that the leadership will return, since their disappearance would be unheard of in an industrialized country in the modern day.

"We are going to try the hostage taking again, but this time we won't fail." Aslan announces to the other rebels. He tells them his plan and they all agree that it is a sound idea. "We will go after Aleksandra again. The last time there were many flaws in our planning. She makes good bait because of her ties to the oil company. Anyway, she is a liar. We did not touch her, yet she told the media that she was raped by the rebels. Those lies will soon come back to haunt her..." The rebels talk late into the night, discussing their plans. This time the hostage taking will yield more results.

Bae Yong brings a modest amount of food home to his mother and siblings then returns to the capital. He feels tired today and struggles to get work done in his apartment. He is weakened by anemia and a poor diet. He finds that today is a struggle to get anything done, and finally gives up, flopping down on his used brown sofa. He turns on the radio to listen to "the news" which is really state propaganda of how well things are going in North Korea.

I hear a knock at the door, and am excited when I see who it is. "Ah Vossya, how'd the meeting go?"

Sakari smiles when Cambridge says that the leadership will be okay.
"Yeah you're right." I say, and order a chamomile tea.
"So how did you get involved in politics by the way?"

"The meeting went okay. We are doing the best we can to make a case for socialism. At least they are listening, though I doubt now that anything more will come of this at the moment." Bassarov replies.

"Uh huh. Why don't you come in, I just made lunch and there's more than enough for you." I say. Fortunately Bassarov is a light eater, otherwise there wouldn't be.

"That's a good question. It happened late in high school. I was always interested in history and economics, and it just seemed logical that I would also become interesting in politics since it is so related to the two. So it sort of happened naturally over time. As for becoming a socialist, I think that too had to do with my interest in history and economics. I saw a lot of economic problems in my area and wanted to have a better understanding of them. What about you?"

I look at Capulet in an odd way. He is right, but we aren't supposed to tell the common people that part of the truth. I yell out to the crowd "Are we going to put up with this oppression of the Fatherland? Of the Master Race? Of course not! SIEG HEIL!" THe crowd echoes the last statement, and cheers.

"Sure I have some time." Bassarov steps into her room and takes a seat.
"Sakari has gone to Helsinki now. I think I will stay in Ireland for a few more days before moving on."

Post by Varick Rommel on Mar 26, 2005 21:46:59 GMT -5
After we are left to our own devices for a good period of time, the police come back in full force, with tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets. Everybody runs anywhere they can, but they're encircled.
Rommel blindly pushes his way forward, coughing in fits, and his eyes watering too much to see anything. Pretty soon he is pinned to the ground, hands cuffed, and carried away to a police van, where several others are being held.
The police arrest hundreds more, including Capulet, Christian, and Eva.

"Damn it scheisskoph! Let me go!" I claw at the officer that is trying to restrain me, but he is much stronger than I am. Several police busses show up and truck us off to prison. We are thrown into four large holding cells, two for the men and two for the women, all within sight of each other...

"Chechnya, isn't that kind of dangerous? I mean I thought there was a war going on." I take a nervous bite of my salad, not sure what to think of this decision.
