"I have to get going. If you want I think Nea and John are back at a cafe. Just look around and you should find them. I'll talk to you later." Antero leaves Cody and returns to the crowd of protestors. He starts searching for the man that bumped into him earlier. Antero is startled by how the man seemed very familiar, though they had never before met.

[Cody leaves Antero and starts looking for other anarchists]
I wish I knew more about where I was. I need to get a map.
[He goes inside a store and buys a city map. This is his first time outside the U.S.]

As Heikki watches, he wonders if he should come down and join the protest. He has the urge too, but then, sitting up in his apartment, he feels like he is standing on the top of the mountain of nihilism looking down at the scurrying creatures below him. He observes arrogantly, and though he longs to be a part of it, he feels above it all.

After a time in Dublin Erich realizes that both Bassarov and Sakari have already left Dublin. Erich is exhausted. And he doesn't want to go chasing them. No instead he'll do things his own way.
As he found out that back in Germany he finds out mnay things are going on. The Nihilist and the Fascist have been active. Maybe he should go and and sieze the opprotunity.
With what little money left he books the next flight to Munich.

When Bassarov lands in Moscow, the first thing he does is go to his hotel, then call Erich on what he thinks is his cell number. He almost forgot all about him and now feels a little bad.
"Hello, Erich, this is Bassarov, I wanted to check up on you and see how you were doing. I am in Moscow at the moment. Where are you?"

Post by Lamumba on Mar 29, 2005 9:16:51 GMT -5
Kasai Lumumba does his daily meetings and regular routine of work, then in the late afternoon takes a tour of the hospitals in Kishasa, the capital of Congo. He would like to have more hospitals built and offer more low cost medical care the people in his country, but this is an ambitious hope.
He travels to Kishasa General Hospital. Patients sometimes share the same bed for lack of space. The mattresses are worn out, stained, and ragged. Their wounds are haphazardly attended to and strong smells of human fluids permeates the air.
The medicine cubbards are empty.
Visiting the hospitals is somewhat depressing, but they are doing what they can. Reform in necessary, but the funding for reforms does not fall from the clouds.

Bassarov waits, but Erich does not answer. He leaves a message. He just wanted to make sure that Erich knew that he wasn't forgotten and that he is glad that Erich escaped Russia.
Bassarov settles into his room and goes to bed. He is travel weary from his trip and needs the rest.

After work, Bae takes the metro home. He likes taking the metro. The stations really are a work of art. The walls of the metro are decorated with murals and mossiacs. All of the stairs and some floors are marble. There are also marble pillars. To add to the extravegance, the metro is also adorned with bronze statues and chandelliers.
Most people in the capital do not own their own car, but Bae wonders sometimes why anyone would want to when the metros look something like an art museum or ballroom.
He boards his tram and stares out at the murals and mossiacs. The colors and images blur together as the train passes. He becomes hypnotized by the mindless watching and his eyes almost lull to sleep. Sometimes his life feels like a dream. That he is living it all inside his head. The empty feeling of hunger is really a detachment from reality.

Aslan and the others continue their search for Aleksandra. It may seem odd that they are taking the same person hostage once again, but they do have a plan and a reasoning for this. They travel in pairs through the local shopping malls, since that is where she is most likely to be found and where they found her last time. Aslan may have pittied her or even been against this second hostate taking, but he lost compassion for her when she lied to the media about what the terrorists had done. They were careful with her and more tolerant than they could have been. Her accusations portray them as immoral and cruel, which to him is not the case.

Malik stands quietly through the rest of the talks. He feels out of place and self concious. He stares at his feet while the others talk of arms and financial support. The discussions last for hours, but stray to more personal talks about family or current events. Finally after what seems like it was far too long in coming, an agreement is made. Malik feels some relief as they are promised financial backing and shipments of arms. He leaves with the others, who are jubilant and hopeful. He offers a few smiles, but says very little. He is just glad they will be leaving Tehran soon.

Gretchen is far too trusting. She takes Christian to an old school house outside of town. In the run down house of education, some Das Ende members have set up their own dormitories and explosives production. Christian is somewhat impressed by it all.
Gretchen gives him the grand tour and the others welcome him aboard with unspoken suspicions.
He soon learns that Das Ende has been cooperating with other nihilists and plans to overthrow the German and Russian governments. The recent attack on Russian and Estonian officials in St. Petersburg was just part of that plan.

Grey has an enjoyable day at classes then returns home to watch the news. The news talks about a famine in parts of Africa. It makes him very sad watching it. Although he was raised with far more than most Americans, he was also raised to be thankful and to be sensitive about others and the world. Saddened by the news, he decides to take a walk. He believes that there will always be poor people but feels that there surely can be fewer than there are today.

Just as the protest was becoming interesting, Antero realizes that he is late for work. He quickly says goodbye to the people he was talking to, then rushes to the pizza place where he works. He puts on his visor and punches in. Like he expected, he will have to help fix the window the rioters broke.

Heikki watches the protests for a while, but then becomes bored of it. Seeing as most of his groceries went bad while he was away, he decides he ought to go grocery shopping. He writes a short list then heads out the door to the local grocery store.

Bassarov sleeps for a few hours, then checks out. He walks down to the train station and purchases a ticket to Grozny. There is a few hours before the train leaves, which he spends walking around the station and at some point watching a TV they have in a side room. He is nervous about this, but feels more confident after the Ireland talks. Finally, he boards the train and makes his slow journey towards the dangerous capital of Chechnya.
