All originality goes out the window with this thread title.

Christian is put in a police car. He offers no resistance since that would make things worse. Instead he is very calm and even friendly to the police. He figures that it is in his best interest to make friends with the officers. He frowns as Eva makes a scene. It is best to appear heroic, good, and in the right. He is later placed in a cell with Frederick, but says little.

"Yes, it is a little dangerous, but I should be fine. There are worse places in the world to travel. If you are worried, I could send you to Sakari for a week. He could look after you until I return. I would prefer that actually."

"N,... It's okay. Unless you don't want me to I'll go with you. It might be dangerous, but I can protect myself."

"I never really had many friends growing up or even now. I am a loner, more a loner than anyone I have ever met. But I am not a dark, dismal, bad attitude sort of loner. I am alone for other reasons."

"I don't have any problem with you coming along, just that you will be unsafe and that since it is an area populated mostly by Muslims, you will not blend in very well as a woman. For your safety, I would rather you stay with Sakari."

"I... I guess." I say as I stare at my salad. For some reason my appetite is mostly gone.

"I'm really sorry. I do feel really bad. Everything is a mess. I think you have misunderstood me sometimes. Maybe I am confusing and have given you mixed signals. I don't know."

Rommel is placed in the cell, the officers have little pity for him. He straightens his clothes, and sits down across from the others, smirking slightly.
"Is everyone alright?"

"I'm fine. How long do you think we will be here?" Christian asks Frederick.

I make a mental note of the unfortunate officer's name who happens to cuff me, as soon as I get out of this Germanic hell cell he will have quite a law suit on his hands.
I look at the people around me absolutely disgusted to be breathing the same air as them let alone be in the same cramped room. But despite all of this I remain my usual collected self and picture my house in the Hamptons for comfort, ignoring Frederick and Christian as best I can for the moment.

"Vossya, I love you. It isn't just about sex and spending time together... It's just love... I don't know, am I making any sense?"

I growl and mutter to myself as I pace around the front of the cell. "I'm fine Fredrick. What the hell did we do wrong?"

"Oh, let's just not talk about it. So I will leave it up to you if you want to go to Chechnya or not. It is not that I don't want to travel wit you, I simply have some concerns for your safety. I would not be gone long."

"I don't know, but we didn't do anything. I don't imagine we'll be here too long." Frederick replies.
"You're right, we didn't do anything, but getting upset about this isn't going to make things any better. Don't worry Eva, we'll have our time in the sun."
