Days pass in routine. Grey is left alone in a small room for hours on end. Lunch, dinner, and breakfast are the only times he has any contact with anyone. They come in, make him recite some phrases or give him a lesson. If he listens and repeats the message, he is allowed to eat. Since he is naturally compliant, he has not been denied food yet. But as the days blur into one, he becomes confused. His thoughts seem jumbled. He is no longer afraid, but dazed and perplexed by the messages they are sending him.

This time, the rebels do not bother keeping Aleksandra comfortable. They don't anticipate that she will be there long anyway. The compound is prepared for the impending attack instead. The rebels retreat to the bottom most levels of their small compound, locking themselves away, and making it difficult for anyone to reach Aleksandra should they storm the building.

Bassarov wanders around Grozny for any sign of rebels he can meet with. He carries the phone to his ear, making him look even more peculiar to those he passes. He feels afraid, but figures as long as he is here, he should do what he came to do.

Heikki scrubs his dish clean of oatmeal, then sets it on the rack to dry. He feels bored and alone. He feels trapped in his home. So, he does something he normally doesn't on happy sunny days. He decides to take a walk. He has no appreciation for the the beauty of nature, but can see the value and interest of it from a scientific or logical perspective. He heads down to the park and goes for a walk, figuring the excercise would be good for him anyway.

Antero returns home after 8 hours of work. Having Deidre and Nea staying with him has improved his mood. Work has gone by quicker and hasn't been so depressing for him. When he arrives back to his apartment he greets the two girls and goes to the kitchen.
"What do you two want to eat? I can like make something. How about....spegetti Os and grilled cheese sandwhiches."
He pulls out a frying pan and gets to work on the grilled cheese.

Meanwhile in Syria... Seemingly the whole universe quakes as bombs rain down upon the earth, sending pieces of building, glass, and bodies soaring through the air. Their supply lines should mostly be severed by this point, or if not severed, at least pinched. The men who were surrounding the city of Hims now push forward, using the tanks for cover, and jumping from building to building. So far the fighting has been quiet.Maybe a little too quiet.

Bae was able to leave work early because of a soccer game between the DPRK and Iran. He was torn between watching the game with some friends or going home for some rest. He decided at the last moment to join his friends and followed them to the stadium. He felt a little out of place and was quiet most of the time, even as the others cheered. In the end, N. Korea lost, which nearly caused a riot. Even after the loss, Bae remained dispassionate and distant to it all. This caused suspicion amongst his friends that maybe something was the matter.
After leaving his friends, Bae went for a stroll through the city. He stopped and looked at some of the goods in the newly opened private markets, but purchased nothing. This change did not set well with him. It seemed some kind of betrayal or compromise to have these individually owned stalls. It made him sick to his stomach.
In an unusually sad mood, he returned to his small apartment and started to make dinner.

"Hey thanks Antero, but I've gotta catch my plane and gather my stuff. I'll be back as soon as I can." Deirdre says, as she slings her bag over her shoulder. "Would you mind giving me a ride to the airport by the way?" She asks, feeling a little guilty for putting Antero out.

"I kind of lost my license for reasons I don't want to get into, but I can ride with you on the bus if you are afraid to take it alone." Antero replies just as the food is done. He puts a sandwhich and healthy scoop of speghetti o's onto each paper plate then serves them to Deidre and Nea.

Sakari is now down to half of the money he started with, and wears a sad look on his face. This was all a part of his plan... A shark in guppy's clothing.
After making it to the turn card, I fold again. The man was bluffing, but I'm building up a trust with him. As soon as I'm down to 9 euros, he's mine...
Sakari crosses his arms, and looks down, showing a look of defeat and despair in his eyes. He's dealt another two cards.

"This is pathetic, I thought that Sakari would do better than this. He already lost over half the money I loaned him." Cambridge whispers to Selja as they observe Sakari from their seats on the other side of the room. They are not allowed close enough to see the cards.

"Okay, my plane leaves in a couple hours, I've got time to eat I guess." She says, taking the paper plate. She can feel the spaghettios through the bottom of the plate.
"I'm not really used to such foods, but I guess I'll get used to it... I'll cook for you two sometime." Deirdre repleis, trying to stomach the food.
