Malik was eating breakfast discussing his trip to Libya with a comrade and listening to the radio for news on the suicide bombing at the American Embassy which occurred earlier that morning. Then suddenly, their semi peaceful morning is broken by the chaos of Israeli soldiers, entering the small apartment and opening fire. Malik is terrified, he dunks under the table, not realizing that the bullets are not real. Everyone is caught off guard, some try to flee, others fight back, Malik simply is too afraid to do anything but hide. He is one of the youngest and newest members and certainly not the most daring.

"Well there are more arms dealers out there than I can count. Estranged Russian soldiers, Americans, Muslims, Jews..." I say the last word like it was a curse. "It's just a question of what you want. And who's reliable." I add. I feel a lot better talking business. It makes me feel comfortable, as here I am fine but I am ill equipped to deal with daily life.

Frederick grimaces. "I don't like dealing with any of them... Russians are now proved to be untrustworthy, and I'm not doing business with a Jew, or an Arab." Frederick looks around, as though the streets would hold his answer.
"Maybe we should try the Americans."

Hours pass. A few MPs check into the hospital complaining of stomach pain and vomiting. As the hours pass more and more check in to local hospitals. At 11:30pm the first MP dies. He is a man in his late 70s who had heart surgery last month. After midnight, another MP dies. Christian leaves Berlin and returns to Munich late that night. He arrives at Rommel's house with a sense of satisfaction. He spots Eva and Rommel on a walk.
"It's done. Now it is up to you to use this to our advantage."

"Oh, this?" Sakari says, looking down his body.
"Well, let's just say that they're probably going to be even more pissed when they notice their money is gone. We should probably stay away from bars and casinos for awhile. Even though I won it fair and square..." I say, now leaning against a wall.
"A word of advice. If you're ever playing with a group of angry poker players and someone yells out 'no one's that lucky!', that's a good sign that you've overstayed your welcome."

"Do you want something for any of those bruises or stuff. I'm sure we can find something." Cambridge says as sie starts rummaging through a random drawer in the hospital room. Sie throws him some bandaids.

"Americans tend to be reliable, though they do charge an arm and a leg..." I see Switzer walking up. "Good. Frederick, how fast do you think we could get Himmer back in town?"

Grey is informed that he will be leading an SLA cell in Montana. He is elated to learn that he has been entrusted with a leadership role after only 2 weeks od SLA membership. He packs some things and piles into a van with some of the SLA members who will be joining him. He has a long road trip ahead of him, but he is excited to head further west to start the new chapter in Billings.
He says goodbye to the North Dakota cell, and heads out that evening. He drives the first leg of the 10 hour road trip across the Badlands of North Dakota. Along the way, he turns every once and a while when he spots clusters of pronghorn racing across the sloping fields or ranches of grazing bison.

The tear gas fills the room. The soldiers fan out to surround the main room, and check the other rooms.
"You are under arrest for terrorist acts. Come quietly, and no one gets hurt. We are authorized to use lethal force if you are agressive towards us," she announces in fluent arabic. It isn't necissary to mention who they are. Even though they have no outward evidence of their allegence, it is obviouse by their tactics that they are Israeli.

Frederick smiles.
"Good work, Christian. Himmel said he will be back early tomorrow if all goes well. Tomorrow evening, the communists are having a rally in front of the government building. We can start as early as tomorrow evening, even if Himmel isn't back by then. We have enough arms for at least a small group to fight off the communists." Frederick replies.

Since everyone was peacefully enjoying their morning, no one is heavily armed but for a few with handguns. They would have fought back, but the tear gas effectively incapacitated those who could not flee out the window or a trap door in the floor of the main sleeping area. Malik remains under the table, coughing uncontrollably.

"I wasn't talking about subduing the communists... I was talking about staging a coup. Now would be the best... no the only chance we're gonna get." I say excitedly.

"That is exactly it, Eva." Frederick says, with a noticably excited intonation to his voice. "We have enough momentum that we can attack the communists, and take control of the government in one fell swoop. They have turned tail and ran every time we've gone for them, and they will do exactly that when our supporters attack. Their credibility is dwindling in the eyes of the public."
