Kasai is overjoyed and gives Mandela an actual hug. "This will change so many lives." He says, starting to get a little emotional.
"But I will spare you my emotions. There are many problems facing Africa today and they need to be put on the world's agenda. If the great powers of the world put as much effort into fighting AIDs as they did terrorism, what a world it would be."

Shit.
There's really no correct answer to this question. I'm going to die. I can hear the street calling up to me, Sakari!! Join us!! No, not yet...
"Nothing with Ivan specifically, but I have a lot of friends in Finland who I've done similar things with. Not way out in Afghanistan, but it had to do with running across the Russian border." Sakari replies.

"I find it hard to believe that you first claimed to have known Ivan over the past three years and now you claim to have never worked with him. You are lying and lies will not save you."
"You are going to tell me the truth now, since from now on, every lie you utter has an equivalent to human suffering. The more you lie, the more you will suffer in the end. Understand, yes?"
"Now, you are going to tell me what I want to know. Who are you? What are all of your past and present connections and involvements with Solntsevskaya?"

"I agree, Kasai," Mandela says, returning the hug. "You shouldn't worry about hiding emotions. Wear them proudly on your face and you will be a happier person."
Mandela gets up, stretches and looks at his watch. "Oh goodness, I'm late. I have to return to South Africa. A woman from the UN is waiting for me there. I appologize for having to leave, I do enjoy our visits, but I guess I just overscheduled myself. I'll visit you again soon, I promise," he said.

"Goodbye and good luck. I will talk to you soon." Kasai walks Nathan back to his car and sees the leader off.

Nathan drives to the airport and gets on his jet.
"Ok, let's move quickly. We have a UN representative to meet back home," he said warmly to the pilot.
"Yes sir, Mr. Mandela."
Mandela sat down, the plane took off, and Mandela finally was able to catch up on some sleep.

Sakari!! Before it's too late!! The street beckons. No, shut up street... I've been through worse. No, you haven't. Okay, no I haven't, but just shut up.
"Hey, that's not nice..." I say, still trying to sound naive, and innocent. "Just because I've known someone for a long time, doesn't mean I have to know what they do. I mean, I didn't even know the name of what you guys are until you told me, and I thought that Ivan was doing this by himself." I say, some of it bares truth, but not most. OJ got off by sticking to his lie, maybe I can too.
"There was one time I did a deal with some Russians while I was in Finland, and that's it." Oh wait, OJ had enough money to buy his way out. Shit. "I didn't ask questions, and I still don't, I know that knowing too much is dangerous."

"It would have been easier to tell me the truth, but I suppose it really doesn't matter. I really don't care who you are and what you know as much as I thought I did." Kaschei replies. He turns to his guards.
"You are going to go for a nice drive to the forest. I always like taking trips out of the city to the forest, it is a nice scenic drive. I think you will enjoy it."
Kaschei sits back in his seat and the guards step towards Sakari. They both detain him, gag him, and force him out of the office, back into the great elevator, down to the car garage, and back into the car he arrived in. The men drive off towards the forest, saying nothing to Sakari along the way.

Sakari takes a step to the window, but is immediately pinned to the ground before he can make his flying leap to salvation.
Before I know it, I'm in the back of a car, gagged, blindfolded, and terrified.

Kashei's men drive Sakari out to the forest. It is about an hour outside of the city. The long ride is silent, but at times they would turn on the radio to listen to the news. When they arrived in a spot that looks ideal, they park the car and march Sakari through the woods. They do not delve too far into the woods, but far enough to shroud them from the traffic that may pass the lonely road.
One guard forces Sakari onto his knees, then steps back. The other draws a hand gun and shoots him in the back. That way he survives a little longer and suffers for his dealings with their group.
When the job is done, Sakari is pushed into a shallow grave, covered with lye, and burried. The men, satisfied with their work, leave the scene and return to the car. They make their way back to Moscow to attend to whatever it is that Kaschei needs of them.

A sharp pain rings through Sakari's body, and he collapses, hard, face first into the dirt. His body is drug into a shallow grave.
I take a deep breath before my face is completely covered with soil, sending a horrible pain through my body, but I buck it, and hold it in. I don't know if I lost consciousness, or if all sound is gone. A dirty, wet, heavy feeling covers my body. I don't dare open my eyes, or mouth.
Then, it finally came. Sakari could no longer hold his breath, and lets out a long hard exhale, and instinctually attempts to inhale, greeted only by dirt.
I lose consciousness.

HOURS LATER:
Ivan enters the room to see how Sakari is doing. After hours of surgery and skin graphs, Sakari will survive according to the doctor. Ivan is relieved. When he found Sakari in the forest, in a grave, shot and skin being eaten away by the lye, he was sure that Sakari was a goner.
Ivan paces around the room waiting for Sakari to wake up. His ears have been cut off, thus he has but two odd looking holes on the side of his head. He is also missing some teeth and is badly bruised all over.
For what he did, Ivan was tortured for hours, his ears cut off, and he was blinded in one eye. But he was allowed to live.

Sakari slowly opens his eyes, and feels a tremendously light feeling.
"I'm... I'm... Alive..!" I quickly sit up, and wince. "Ah motherfucker......" I say, grabbing my chest. I look around the hospital room, disoriented and confused.
"How did I get here...? Hello?"

"You are awake. We have to leave the country as soon as we can. They'll come after me for helping you, and you if they ever found out you were alive." Ivan says to Sakari. He voice is quiet but urgent. He puts a black hat on his head to cover his missing ears and the missing patches of hair. He looks like a nighmare charicature of his former self.

Sakari jumps off of the bed, grabbing his chest again, and having trouble breathing. He has third degree burn marks on his gunshot wound because of the lye, but those didn't seem to bother him.
"Jesus Ivan... Come with me, I know of a place." I say, grabbing him by the arm. A doctor runs in.
"What are you doing up out of bed so early?? Lay back down, you need rest!" The man says, holding his hands out. "I just need to go for a walk, I'm not going far. I just want to see my friend here, okay?" Sakari calmly explains to the doctor. "You have five minutes." He says, then walks off.
"Alright, let's go." I say, walking as fast as my body will allow me. "Where's your car? There's someone I have to see before we do anything."
