"We will not be opressed any longer," Alejos continues his rant, obviously inciting rebellion in the workers. "If you want the safety and well being of the people, then by all means feel free to host an honest election for a change! Feel free to disban your Military Police! The Military Police is a farce!
"The police are meant to protect and serve the citizens of a state or city or country! The Military are meant to protect the state from enemies! When the two are combined, the people become the enemy of the state and are being protected from themselves! Ring any bells? Here's a hint; FASCISM!!" The crowd of workers cheers and the police officer begins advancing on the car.

"Hello again. You were pretty blasted last time I saw you, feeling better?" I ask 'him.' "So where did you want to go?"

What should we do? If we get involved, we'll get arrested.."

"I don't think we can do anything... Why couldn't he just keep quiet dammit?!" I don't want to see Alejos get arrested, or worse. At the same time I don't want me or my sister to get caught up and also arrested for this...

Bassarov leaves Tom and arrives at the scene to watch Alejos and a small group of workers in a stand off with the police. He notices Selja and Sofia in a jeep so he walks over to them. "This is going to be unpleasant." Bassarov says with worry.

Dylan blushes.
"Um... that's the first time I've actually gotten drunk... I probably made an ass of myself. I'm sorry."
Sie changes the subject.
"There's this really neat coffeeshop and bookstore near here called The Rust Belt. Have you been there before?" Dylan asks. "It's a really great place to hang out. I go there a lot. We have local Green Party meetings there sometimes."

"If we are ever to be free, we must first be free of the tyranny of the Military Police and the Bourgeois opressor class," Alejos says, eying the officers approaching the car. He doesn't want this to turn into a shoot-out, and he's hoping he doesn't get shot. He may appear confident, but in all truth he's just as nervous as anyone in his shoes would be, despite the fact he has an Uzi in his right hand.
"We must not be intimidated by brute force, comrades! Stand your ground and show you are not afraid! We must be willing to take a few blows for our cause! Do not fire unless fired upon," he barks the last part to a worker who looked like he was about to raise his gun.

"Yeah I've been there before, it's pretty cool." I say. I don't say that I was there because I was trying to get some from an intillectual guy. "Yeah we can go there, hop in!" I say as I gesture to my car.

Another group of police cars shows up. More police are on their way. This is looking pretty bad. I turn to Bassarov and let him in the jeep.
I think we are far enough away where we won't get caught up in this.

"Yeah, if they bust us they have to bust half the town." I say, referring to the massive number of uninvolved observers nearby. "Vossya, are you okay?"

Bassarov watches the police and the workers. More police arrive and demand that they put down their weapons. When Alejos and the workers disobey, they hurl tear gas at the workers. The start moving in on some of the workers, arresting and disarming those affected by the gas. Thus far, no shots are fired as the first group of workers are arrested.
"I am fine. It looks like they are starting to arrest some of the workers."

"Yeah... Why does he keep doing this? He could've gotten off with a reprimand." I say about Alejos. Without thinking I pull a cigarette out of my pack and light it to fight off the nerves.
