"Allright." I say as we arrive at the market. I also start picking out food, though I get far more vegatables than fruit. I also get a packet of beef jerky. When I'm pretty sure my sister isn't nearby I stop and light up a cigarette, and keep looking.

(sorry I didn't respond earlier Dylan)
I am relieved when I hear the phone being answered. "Hey, this is Cris, the girl that let you stay at her house when you were indisposed. I trust you made it home okay?" I ask as I light a cigarette and start getting my breakfast around.

How have things been with you, and what are with all of those arms? That looked a little dangerous to me. I say to Tom after the car pulls away.

"I've been pretty good. And uh, that's something the Trotskyists are into. I think they're raising a people's militia, but I'm really not sure." I say. Somehow now I feel more comfortable around Mary now, and I'm not sure why.

I will have to report this to the Brazilian authorities at once. I'll talk to you before I go, okay. I have some things to do. I need to call my father. I smile and leave. As soon as Tom is out of view, I go to a pay phone and call the police on Alejos and Soledad. Soon, police car sirens are howling towards the factory where Alejos and Soledad are handing out weapons. The police pull up to the factory and threaten to arrest Alejos and Soledad....

When I hear the sirens I quietly leave the area, though I am near the point of panic. I had nothing to do with these weapons, though I have no way to prove that. Of course the fact that I am a forigener and a sworn socialist wouldn't help me any... I make it back to the Party building, really just the back of a small office building, and start calling up Bassarov and the other socialists to tell them what happened. Of course I have no idea who ratted us out...

"Stand back, bourgeois opressors! These weapons are not for assault, but for self defense against the illegal regime in which you and your Military Police are participating. The people have a right to bear arms, it is clearly stated in Brazillian law that we have said right. So long as we don't use them, we're fine. We will not use our weapons unless fired upon," Alejos says from atop the car. "And, unless I'm mistaken, I do believe that if you arrest me it could have some bad reprocussions."
Alejos gestures to the several people in the area, all of whom are armed and look relatively cross. Yes, this violates the rules he's set down... but hey, technically the rules haven't gone through the Central Committee yet, so it's all good.

We pick up some fresh foods and get back into the jeep. Some squad cars rush past us at full speed. We should check that out, Selja. We drive off in the jeep, following after the squad cars.

Kaschei is impatient and angry. Obviously Pavel is on something, and although Kaschei has plenty of experience with drug addicts, he is none the less not amused. He stares at Pavel coldly for a while, trying to keep control of his temper. He finally loses it. He grabs Pavel by his thin wrist and forcefully pulls his small frame off the bed. "Get your head on." He yells at him, then slaps him harder than he meant to. Pavel is bleeding from his lip. Kaschei becomes even more annoyed by this and throws him to the floor. He hits the corner of the dresser with his head as he tumbles. Kaschei takes a few deep breaths and looks at Pavel, who is now bleeding on the floor. He leaves the guestroom and calls for Maria.
"Maria, Pavel had an accident. Come take care of him." Kaschei orders her, then storms off to this study.

"Oh... um... thanks a lot!" Dylan says cheerily.
This is a very, very awkward situation.
"Um... look... I don't really remember much about the other night... we didn't..."
This is a very awkward question.

"Put down your arms or you will be arrested!"
"I do not have arms aimed at anyone! It is you, oh astute one, who has your gun aimed at me. Mine is not only on safety, but it's pointed away from everyone. We have a right to bear arms," Alejos says to the officer, pointing a finger as if scolding him.

Bassarov was just about to call Sakari when he was distracted by the sirens of the police cars. He steps out of the phone booth and spots Tom standing alone near a grocery store. He walks over to Tom. "I have a bad feeling about this." He says, hoping this has nothing to do with them.

"Fuck man, that hurt..." Pavel murmurs. He stumbles a bit, before tripping over the edge of the carpet.
"Fuck..."
Then, Pavel is crying.
