"I never had a good relationship with my family. I am devoted to them, but, they are very wealthy. They own a company in Japan. I don't like to talk about it."
I serve us both some tea and sit down.
"And you are not a socialist, yet you follow Bassarov all over the world. What is it that you believe?"

Sakari's behaviors bring up dozens of questions in his mind. Why is he acting this way? What's going on? He seems so different. What happened while we were apart? He is used to Sakari being pretty unsexual and even a bit childish. This throws him entirely off gaurd. But at the same time, he is curious and Sakari is attractive. He looks into Sakari's eyes and feels more nervous than he has with anyone. Women are fairly predictable and there is more of an imbalance of power. He therefore feels more in control.
"Well, I suppose you only live once." He replies, attempting to sound like this is nothing to him. He leans over and kisses Sakari on the lips lightly.

"Well, to tell you the truth I'm not sure what I believe anymore. I always used to agree with the system that's in place, but spending so much time with socialist I'm not sure anymore..."

"It's okay not to know."
"You'll figure things out eventually." I say with a smile.

"Yeah, I'm sure I will." I take a sip of the tea. "This is pretty good. I don't tend to drink a lot of tea, I usually have coffee instead."

We drink tea and talk a while longer.
"It really is starting to get late. It was nice talking to you but I need some sleep."
I yawn and put away the tea cups.

Sakari can tell that this is bothering Valodya, and enjoys it. He smiles.
"Well that was fun." I say, then lean in and kiss him again, this time reaching up and brushing my hand against his cheek.

"Oh... I wanted to talk some more but I really don't want to impose on you... Thanks for letting me talk."

"We can talk tomorrow, don't worry." I say with a smile and lead her to the door.

"Okay, thanks. See you then." I say as the door shuts behind me. I fish a cigarette out of my purse, but hesitate before lighting it. If I really do want Bassarov to start liking me more maybe I should try harder to quit, but I end up lighting the cigarette anyways. I get back to my hotel and crash on the bed, not bothering to shower or even change clothes... I'll just visit Bassarov first thing in the morning...

It is a little strange, but good none the less. Maybe better since it is something different. He closes his eyes as Sakari touches his cheek. "I don't want to see Selja tonight." He says, implying that he would like to sleep with Sakari, if his friend would allow it.

I think about Selja and her situation, then go to bed. I hope things work out for her. Poor girl. I close my eyes and sleep comes upon me quickly.

"Right on..." Sakari says, and slowly presses Valodya down onto the bed, and pulls the covers over them.

Being traveler might be hard for many people but then again, people like me wanted to escape and decided to become a traveler.
Just before I left Venezuela, I made a call to my brother and told him that I can't make it.
His answer? He has insult me with every swear word there is he can think of in french and told me that he will tried to follow me and will drag me back to New Orleans and then he hung up.
I shouldn't be worry though. After all, he just a Nillisht. As my flight landed in Silicon Valley, I got off my plane, grab my bags and began lookinhg for a hotel

Bassarov wakes up and turns on his side to look at the time. He forgets for a moment where he is and who he is with, and is startled when he sees Sakari sleeping near him. He is hit with a strange panic of not knowing what he should do. Maybe he could just leave, but that would be rude. Anyway, he doesn't want to seem ill at ease about things. After thinking about it a while, he decides that he will just pretend to be a sleep and wait for Sakari to wake up. So, he moves to the far edge of the bed, pulls a blanket over his head, and feigns a deep sleep while he secretly sorts things out in his head.
