A thread of another kind...
Well, okay not really.

Natasha cuts up potatoes and onions then throws them into a skillet with some olive oil and salt. I'd like that a lot, Helvi. Afterall, we both seem to like eachothers brothers. We might as well be friends. She flips the first batch of pancakes and smiles. So... are you Zivon's girlfriend?

"I don't know what I am to him." I say and watch her make pancakes. "I don't think I will ever be his girlfriend. I am glad enough that he tolerates me enough to keep me around."

"I don't mind if I have a relationship with Sayuka if that happens in the future. I am attracted to you too but I thought you might not like me.""

"No, it was all good that this happened. I learned from everything. You have taught me so much in life. And because of that I admired you. But there comes a point where you have to move on and you must learn your own lessons. No one will ever teach me as much as you have." He says to Zivon. His voice is neither warm no cold. It is not sentimental. It is matter of fact. "And for the first time in my life, I am really happy. I feel, like a new person. I have shed some intellectual shackles and feel like I am really living."
"I don't want to sound too...I don't know, romantic or sappy, but I feel free." Heikki explains.

"Of course I like you Mihoko. You are one of the kindest and warmest people I have met."
I finish up my tea and put my teacup in the sink.
"Thanks for the tea. I will visit you tomorrow. Maybe we could, go out to eat." I suggest.

Maybe he doesn't tolerate you. Maybe he acctually likes you. Gotta look at it from both sides of the fence. She stirs the potatoes around before putting the fresh pancakes onto a plate. I don't know Zivon, really. Is he... mean?

"Sure, I would like to go out and have lunch or dinner with you tomorrow Sayuka." and took up and took my teacup to the sink.

"Now that I know where you live, I will stop by here tomorrow. We can go to lunch. I will stop by at 1pm." I say and start walking to the door.
When we get to the door I give her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Tomorrow then."

"He...has a good heart, he just doesn't know it." I say after thinking about it a while. "He has been mean to some people I think. But I also think that he is changing." When she says that Zivon might like me my eyes light up. "It would be strange if someday we were sister in laws." I say but am mostly kidding.

I blushed a bit but smiled.
"Alright, 1pm then. I will see you tomorrow then." and gave her a hug.

Natasha laughs at the thought. Yeah, it would be. Too bad our guys don't believe in marriage. We could be like those really close sister-in-laws that live like right next door to each other and each others kids are like our own... She dishes the fried potatoes into a bowl then starts on the sausages. Do you want to finish the pancakes? They are almost done.

"That's true." I say and feel a little foolish for having said it. I move to the stove and flip pancakes quietly.

I leave and return to my friend's home. She asks me about my day but I keep most of it to myself.
I go to my room and spend some time writing and thinking.

She notices she might of hurt Helvi's feelings and feels bad for it. But you know, we could always pretend to be sister-in-laws. It would be kind of cool to have a sister.
