Suzumi shook her head, "No, not really. I'm just pleasantly surprised with how much progress we've made on the farmhouse..." Her face fell slightly, becoming a little downcast. "if there are any more rebels left to use it, anyway..."

Riku reaches over and puts his hand on her back, moving it slightly to rub her back, smiling at her reassuringly.
"Im sure there are more rebels, cause i seriously doubt there's only three left.... its just a matter of gettign them to come out of hiding and finding them..."
he lets his hand go back to his side as they enter the resturant
"so anyway, what do you want?"

Suzumi smiled up at him, quietly replying. "Thanks, Riku....I'm sure you're right about the others..." She glanced through the menu, quickly reading the list of items. "Hmmm...it's hard to choose...everything on here sounds good..." After a few more minutes of deliberating, she decides to get one of the specials, the pork and vegetable okonomiyaki. She hasn't had much Japanese cuisine in a long time.

He smiled at her and then nodded slightly at her comment about it sounding good, though some of the dishes appearance gave the opposite thought... they all smelled rather good.
"Okonomiyaki?... That does look good, Though I think I'll have the Sukiyaki"
he sat and nodded towards the waitress as she set their tea down after they sat, he looked back at suzumi and smiled again.
"I havent been in a japanese resturant in awhile.... seems almost a lifetime"

Suzumi nodded, "Haha, me neither. My father and I didn't eat out very often back home, since it was just the two of us." She slowly sipped her tea, feeling somewhat nostalgic. The restaurant was modeled after a old time traditional Japanese tea house, which was rather comforting. She inquired curiously, "So what have you been up to lately?"

He smiles and looks up after sipping the tea, smirking slightly at her.
"Lately? I have been finding a few friends and then we are rebuilding a farmhouse... what about you?"

Suzumi replied wryly to Riku, "Well, I'm going out to dinner with this goofball friend of mine. He's nice, but a bit of a dork." She smiled teasingly, not actually meaning that he was a goofball or a dork.

Riku blinked at her, alittle stunned goofball?... . he smiles slightly and moves his hand, her tea moving away from her.
"no more tea for you suzumi... they must've put something in it"

Suzumi made a mock angry face at him, even though she wasn't really angry. "I think I'd know if there was something in my tea, Riku." She moves it back, and only sips a little bit more, since it is very hot. Although she is a demon, she is in the habit of casting an illusion of being a human, especially when out in public.

He smirks slightly and shrugs as he sits back, sipping his tea.
"Well you never really can know for sure, for all you know, I could've put something it in"
Their food comes and he sets the glass back on the coaster, He looked over at her food and tilted his head slightly, He had known what it was... yet seeing it close he wondered who ever thought of making it... it didnt smell back though. He picks up his chopsticks and starts eating his food slowly, dipping it into the egg before eating it.

Suzumi easily sliced through the okonomiyaki with her chopsticks, cutting it into smaller portions. She eats it slowly, savoring the taste. Glancing over at Riku, she wonders how he likes his food. He seems to be enjoying it. She smiles, asking him quietly, "How is it...? Do you like it?"

"Something has to give, FB. This is all wearing on me." Helene replies simply. "I am just an old woman in an immortal body. I am forever young and old at the same time."
"If only they hadn't invented half the crap we have now. Like computers, no offense, or teleportation booths." Just like an old woman, Helene blames technology.

"I have a feeling the invention of advanced technology is hardly the cause of all of our destruction--we were killing each other waaaay before we had any sort of advanced tech. Look at the Crusades, the Greek Empire, the Mongolian Empire--hell, the German Barbarians toppled Rome. All Technology has done is make people slightly more docile. Where once entire nations were warlike and hungry for land, now it's confined to a few officials in the government, and some retards in the army," he said. Freak Boy loved studying history--but he preferred to do so independantly. RI History tended to be a bit heavy on bullshit.

"No, technology has only suceeded in giving us more fucked up ways of killing each other. I probably am a product of some fucked science fair project made by some kid with a huge brain." Helene says grudgingly. She is just miffed because Bassarov is dead. Now that she is farther away from Rei, its good to be able to let some of that go.
"I wish I could just suck every last one of those RI folks dry. Bad people have horrible tasting blood though..."

"Well, if it helps, I'd be more than willing to drain some of my blood into a glass and let you drink that... I don't know about biting though. I'm not comfortable with that notion. I don't really feel like becoming a vampire," he said, scratching his head.
