He swings from megalomania to an odd, out of place empathy- which has brought more than a few people into his circle, despite their better judgment. He sees the chaotic state of the world today as evidence of his impending ascension.
Story: Born in the 1980’s, he was the son of a single father who was left unemployed after the closing of a factory that manufactured nails, screws, and bolts. From a yound age, Ender considered himself descendent from displaced royalty. He and his father moved to Kansas to live with the boy’s grandmother, a deeply spiritual Christian, who versed young Ender in all books of the Bible.
The impoverished Ender quickly became a loner in the public school system, keeping to himself until late into secondary school, where he became the hub of a group of anarchists. Ender’s first venture into politics was as editor of the subversive newsletter The Spark, which Ender and his group would slip into newspaper dispensers early in the morning, stuffing as many of the newspapers as they had supply for.
Two months prior to graduation Ender suffered a mental breakdown, in which time he read Notes from Underground, a short novel by Dostoevsky on alienation. Ender became convinced that he was the reincarnation of Dostoevsky due to the similarity of some of his own journaling to the novel.
Shortly after Ender decided that it was his role in this lifetime to accumulate all political and cultural power on Earth- that he had already suffered as Fyodor Dostoevsky and it was in this lifetime, as Ender Hobbes, that he would ascend to power. He saw suffering in his past lives as conditioning.
In college, Ender founded the Syndicalist Association, through which he propounded fascist views in a socialist manner. He organized his most trusted followers into the core of what he would call the American Phalanx- the organization which he plans will become a dominant political force.
