"Okay, I have work I need to be doing anyways. I will contact you soon, talk to you then." I reply before hanging up the phone. I head back to the HRT and once again resume my training...

My local party calls me and tells me that Alejos is in town. They say that I should go to the airport and pick him up. The reason they know he is coming is because the people he was working with in Brazil called us after his flight departed.
I drive with Julia to the airport and look around for him. I don't want to draw attention to myself or raise any suspicions.
I don't even know what he looks like so I end up walking up to random men coming from Brazil and asking them if they are Alejos.
"Excuse me are you Alejos?"
"Excuse me?"
"Excuse me?"
"Do you know Alejos?"
One of these times I will get it right.

Gabriel hangs up the phone and changes his clothes, After brushing his teeth with his white toothbrush, he says his prayers and goes to bed. He always says his prayers since in his line of work, he never knows what tomorrow will bring.

"Yes, I'm Alejos," he says when she walks up to him. "You're Soledad, right?"
'Wow, that was easy,' he thought to himself.

"Yes, I am Soledad, I asked about 20 people off of that flight if they were you. I am glad I found you, but now everyone is wondering who Alejos is."
I start walking him back to my car where Julia is waiting. My car is very nice since my father is a politician and has investments in the emerald mines here.
"I am sorry to bother you, but you were at the socialist convention in Russia, weren't you?"

"Since no one is volunteering, I can give Erich a call. We'll see what he is up to."

"For a while, yes. I spent about a week there then flew to Brazil where I've been organizing the 4th International's forces."

"A teacher of mine is the leader of the socialist group I am in here in Columbia. He was at the meeting but never returned. His name is Alvaro and we are all very worried about him. We have no idea what happened to him. Do you remember anyone of that name? Or do you know what might have happened to him?"
I get into the driver's seat and Julia gets in the back. I start to drive us back to her apartment, since she did agree to put him up.

"I don't remember meeting him, but I think Vodya may have met him. I'll send out some e-mails, make some calls and see what I can dig up," he said reassuringly. "I'm sure he just got sidetracked. The meeting was very moving. Take me for example; I was initially planning to go back to Texas but here I am."

"Thanks, I was so worried. We all were. I was afraid he got arrested or something. Then I am sure he will come back soon, thanks."

"That would be nice, Cambridge. Let me think if I can remember his number off hand." Bassarov pauses and thinks for a moment. He is bad with names and even worse with numbers.
"I think it is..." Bassarov then recites the number to Cambridge.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it."

"No problem. So, is there a hotel I'll be staying at?"

"We were going to have you stay at Julia's apartment. You will be happier there anyway. There is a lot of crime in the city and I don't think you would want to stay alone in a hotel room. It is a little dangerous around here right now."
I smile as we pull up to Julia's apartment. She has been in the back the whole time and since she is shy around guys hasn't said much.
"This is where she lives. I would have put you up at my home, but I live with my parents and they are not socialist friendly."

(To Erich) "Thanks, I'll give him a call." Cambridge leaves the room with the number and places a call to Erich. Sie leaves a message on his home phone answering machine that some socialists are in Moscow and they were wondering what he is up to. They were also wondering about events in Germany.
Since he is not home, sie is not sure if he will get the message unless he calls home to check them.
With that done, sie decides to take a walk to get used to hir crutches.

"Ah, I see. Thank you very much, Julia," he says, turning his head to look at her. "I'll try not to be too much of a burden on you."
