"The two of you are going to get in trouble. The government arrests leftist revolutionaries. It is very dangerous." Julia says to Alvaro as she leads us up to her apartment.
We go up to her apartment and sit down in her living room.
"Julia worries too much, so don't mind her."

After Cambridge leaves, Bassarov decides to take a nap. He is tired from the pain killers and has a hard time staying awake for very long after he has taken some. He closes his eyes and falls into a deep and pleasant sleep.

"She shouldn't. I can take care of myself," Alejos says, opening his jacket revealing two hand guns, several ammo clips and a hand grenade. "You never know when you're going to need to defend yourself and I personally feel it's better to have something and not need it then need it and not have it when it comes to matters of self defense."

"I don't own a gun. I've never shot one before even. I think guns are a little scary."
"I don't know how I feel about guns in my apartment." Julia adds.
"But if you feel safer. I guess I am just clumbsy and would worry about accidentally shooting myself or a friend."
"Does anyone want pinneaple upside down cake? I made it earlier today and it turned out nicely." Julia says to distract us from the talk about guns.
"Tell us about yourself, Alejos."

"There's not really much to tell," he says with a shrug. "And yes, some pineapple cake sounds delicious."
He sits at the table. "I'm just you're average revolutionary Socialist, nothing special. I'm an ascetic so I don't really get out much."

"What does ascetic mean? I think I heard that before."
I serve him some cake and we all dig in.
"mmm, this is great. Good job, Julia."
"It was my mother's recipe."

"An ascetic is anyone who gives up the world and dedicates themselves to a cause. Much like the whay buddhists give up material goods since they don't make you happy, or the way the Pope takes up a life of sullibacy, I have given up all things not pertanent to the revolution."

"That's really dedicated. I wish I was that dedicated. I am new at politics and don't take it seriously enough. But I am trying to be better."
"I think I am going to go get some groceries for all of us." Politics makes Julia uncomfortable, so she leaves for a while to get groceries.

"It's always good to meet a fellow revolutionary," he said with a smile. "In all truth most of my superiors aren't even this dedicated, but my beliefs do not ask that all revolutionaries bahave as I do, I merely want to do all I can to save the world from Capitalism."

"I was thinking of traveling to Russia to find out about Alvaro. Do you think you will be going back there any time soon?"

"In all truth, I do not think so. I may if there's another meeting, but I have my hands full with the movements in Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. I'll send my friend Vodya a message and he'll probably be able to find out."

"You know, it's amazing how entertaining claymation is. Some of my best and worst memories involve clay." Heikki says as they watch Gumby. This episode is the one where Gumby tells children that communism is bad and that they should take their vitamins. This is an earlier one from the 1950s. Pokey and Gumby later have an adventure when they are sucked into a story book. The whole thing is a hodge podge of messed up politics and bizarre stories.

"That would be nice. You could stay here and work with us in Columbia. The military government is so corrupt we need help."

"Well then, the 4th International Socialist Movement is at the service of the people of Columbia," he said, casting a warm smile. If it seemed like he was trying to be charming, that was not at all the case. Relationships do little more then take up time and money that could be spent on the revolution.

"Maybe we should plan something. I don't even know where to start. Everything is messed up here. There is corruption everywhere. My father is a politician for the corrupt government and he takes money and bribes from drug lords. There is already fighting in the countryside between the government and different opposition groups. What can we do?"
